I have used this company for a couple of years and while it has gotten me out of a couple of financial jams, it has put me in a full-time financial jam paying them back. I don't understand how they are allowed to operate and charge the fees they charge it's insanity. Please don't borrow any money from them and if you have to pay it OFF as soon as you can. Trust me.

I would not even give this company one star. The name of the actual company you work with is ******** **** * ***** Company. This company is awful, none of their emails even work, their customer support line only gives you two options (to update your information or change your password), they keep sending you emails about things needed and when you go to your portal, nothing even pops up. I have been constantly attempting to reach out multiple times to all the email addresses provided on their website in *********.com, and NO ONE could give me a viable answer. Their portal is not user-friendly as it does not match what they want you to do on the email. Overall, DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! They will tell you to keep trying to re-apply because their system is "updating," but it's the same issue every time. I was first told I was approved but needed income verification. I have been EMAILING and uploading all the necessary documentation and contacting the numbers they provide, but no one has clarified the issue. After re-applying 5 times as told, I was denied, which wasted so much time. They are sketchy, and it's no wonder they have low ratings!

These people who run this bank are absolute PREDATORS. If you find yourself in need of quick money you'd be better breaking your own legs before they do. Been with them for YEARS and I can tell you they have changed. Before they were still expensive but at least they had great customer support with flexible repayment options and on occasion you could even skip the monthly payment! Very convenient.. BUT NOW! the economy is slowing and they have CHANGED they don't care about NOTHING except payments payments payments, racking in your cash. A lot of those flexible "Elastic" options are gone, replaced with "here is how you'll pay now" "You signed the dotted line" contract contract payments payments. I almost considered letting it to go collections because they actually have better schedule and payment options and the whole monthly would go to the principe but it is almost paid off now. As for other people I'm sure this bank has them over the coals and I pray for them. Elastic has lost they're even balance of making money and serving customers. They have devolved into disgusting human beings and honestly they need to be put on some sort of list.

That Elastic provides a relatively expensive form of credit is something made very clear at the outset, and shouldn't have been a 'surprise' to anyone who chooses to use it. This isn't a credit card and shouldn't be used like one. In instances of financial difficulty Elastic deposits a lump sum of cash in your bank account within 24 hours of requesting it, with the understanding that it should be paid back as soon as possible to keep finance charges low. When a balance is carried week after week without being paid off or down, this form of credit becomes considerably more expensive. It shouldn't be used to make purchases, but rather to meet a current need such as a medical bill or car repair.Elastic has been a life-saver for me on multiple occasions, and in a few instances wherein I was hard-pressed to make my payment on time, I was allowed to defer the entire payment to the following due date. What credit card company ever gave their customerd such an option? Before using Elastic make sure you understand how it differs from conventional credit accounts. Use it as a tool for managing your financial situation, rather than a credit card enabling Amazon shopping sprees and tattoo benders.

Don't borrow from elastic as they are just going to trap you into payments you cannot afford. You make one mistake even though you've been with them for a few years and they will penalize you like crazy to the point you can't even afford the loan anymore. They will drown you!!!! Right now is the hardest times in the economy, and they should be expecting a lot of people to have troubles. They are helping you save your account, but they are just putting make up over it.. it's not helping. I tried to make a payment to correct my account to get it back on track but they're online services does not allow the way. My address is with a 1/2 sign. They also would not let me change the expiration date on my card that I was trying to make payment with. That same bank account that they have been withdrawing. My payments from is no longer saved in my account, and I am not able to use that method. They stripped that method away from me. They also stop your payment plan altogether you're just stuck. They are not loyal to any customer, and just out to drain your Wallet and take advantage.I will no longer use elastic for loans.

This company (Elastic Republic Bank) is ripping people off we borrowed 2520 we made a 200. payment and we wanted to pay them off due to the high interest and according to our records pay off would be 2320. and they are telling us that we would have to pay 2750 this should be against the law no other company adds the interest to the pay off payment bad enough they are charging us over 400 a month for payment this is highway robbery and this company needs to be shut down.

Would not recommend borrowing a large loan. BORROWED AROUND 2,000 VERY high balance carry over fee. Paid them around 1,000 in carry over fees. I Paid two payments in October and they said no payment due until December. 2023. Requested Pay off November 3rd, but it was grayed out,( the last day of billing cycle.) so, I couldn't pay it on that day. Had to pay on the 4th of November. Requested to pay in full what they said was my pay off balance. They grayed out the date of the 3rd of November on Friday . So I had to pay November 4th. and they charged a $50 carry over fee. Called them wrote them they said COMPUTER GLITCH. We can't credit your account. You paid 1 day after the 3rd. I paid very high fees for a round a year. THE COMPUTER NOW SAYS NO PAYMENT DUE UNTIL JANUARY AND BALANCE $60 THEY SAID (WE WILL SEND YOU TO COLLECTIONS IF YOU DON'T PAY.) I want a credit for the $50 fee because I was not allowed to pay it off on the 3rd. I closed my account with them.

DO NOT USE. I'm not sure if it's that they are misleading on purpose, or that they really do not have their business set up appropriately, but they have major issues. I responded to a mailer that came to me with a pre-authorization code. I went through the process to see how it worked because I like the idea of having a flexible line of credit when you need it. First, it said that no hard credit check would be pulled, and it was. I applied and was told that I was approved for $2700, but I only requested a smaller amount of cash advance ($350). I received an email that told me that money is on the way to my bank account and will be deposited within 24 hours. After a little more than that amount of time, I logged into my account and on my dashboard, where my approved line of credit and my payment schedule that I had already set up automatic payments with had previously appeared, a message that says "Application Expired" showed in it's place. I looked and AFTER I received the email telling me my cash was on the way to my bank account, I had a request for a bank statement and my Photo ID.I called customer service, expecting them to apologize and fix the error, but instead, both reps I spoke to were rude and flatly told me that my approved amount had been cancelled pending more information. The manager kept telling me that there was fine print that wasn't there, and argue that sending an email saying that my request had been processed and money would be in my account within 24 hours was not misleading. He told me I was picking and choosing wording when in fact, I was reading the email word for word, and never received whatever "other" email he was referring to with the fine print. I hung up feeling completely disgusted. This company needs to be investigated for misleading customers.

Buyer beware. I was fed up with their loan shark practices and came across just enough cash to pay off the recorded balance of 4094.35. I received that balance after making 4 calls today, only to find out their system was "off" and my actual balance 200.00 more! I spoke to a supervisor Westin, who told me I would still owe this, along with fees. I am penalized for their mercenary fees and tactics.
