    I am filing a complaint against Cantabile Music School LLC, located in *********** ****.

    This music school, named Cantabile Music School, with Ohio State Entity Number: *******, is situated in *********** ****.

    On April 9, 2024, I purchased a used Steinway piano from this entity. We signed an agreement on that date, and I immediately transferred $16,500 to the seller, constituting 50% of the piano's purchase price. Prior to signing and making the payment, I must emphasize that it was before signing and making the payment, the seller assured me that the delivery would occur in early or mid-May. On May 2, when I inquired about the specific delivery date, the seller unjustifiably postponed the delivery to the end of May. Before my inquiry, the seller did not proactively seek my consent or discuss the feasibility of the delay. When I expressed that the latest acceptable delivery date was mid-May, the seller could not provide a definite response and refused to issue an immediate refund. The seller insisted that if the delivery could not be made by May 21, a refund would be processed on May 21. This was the first instance of the seller unreasonably delaying the refund.

    After a prolonged wait, I inquired about the refund status on May 23. The seller provided a payment proof indicating a scheduled transfer to me on May 22. However, I did not receive the funds. On May 28, I inquired again, and the seller admitted that the previous transfer had been canceled, although she did not acknowledge that she had canceled it herself. On May 28, the seller once again provided a transfer proof that could not be processed. To date, I have not received the funds that rightfully belong to me, which have been illegally withheld for a month.

    I require the company's CEO, J******* C***, to personally explain why the refund has been repeatedly delayed and why false, expired, and void financial proofs were used. I demand an immediate refund and a formal apology from the company.

    Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused regarding the delivery of the purchased piano.


    The delivery was unsuccessful due to several changes in the delivery dates requested by the customer. Consequently, we have decided to cancel the order and issue a refund for the deposit. However, our attempts to process the refund via bank wire transfer have been unsuccessful.


    We are actively working to resolve this issue and are in contact with the customer to determine the best method for refunding the deposit. We are committed to resolving this matter promptly and to the customer’s satisfaction.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below. They are not stating facts. It is their unilateral delay in modifying the delivery time. To date, I have not received the funds they have unlawfully withheld from me for nearly three months, nor have they transferred the funds to me as promised.
