I had a bad experience at the ******** ************ in West Chester. I had a reaction after donating blood and ended up falling out of a chair and hitting my head. I understand it is possible for things like this to happen after donating. However, the worker who helped me after I fell, told me that I needed to go to the hospital and that ******** would pay for my medical bills. Being under the impression that they were paying for my medical bills, I went to the emergency room. However, after having issues getting in touch with someone from ******** until a week later, I was told that they would not cover my ER visit. This whole situation could have been avoided had the worker not told me that they would pay for my medical bills and insisted I go to the hospital. I would've just waited until that Monday to see my primary physician. Do better and educate your workers on your policies so that they are not telling people things that are not true. When I tried to contact someone from their main office, the assistant manager from ******************* was the one who contacted me. I wanted to speak to someone from their main office to ensure that this doesn't happen to anyone else.

The harassing phone calls should be illegal. They take advantage of being a non profit and harass people with phone calls because they do not have legal repercussions. It turns people off from blood donation too. I have told them multiple times I have moved out of state and they keep calling me anyway. I dont even know if sending a cease and desist will matter or if I could take legal action at all. You also cant change your number on your account online.
