      Going for cash out refinance and had just tried this and was denied a couple months earlier, let them know I wasn't going to pay to keep being appraised and getting turned down.on or about Jan. I was told there would be a onetime appraisal fee,I seen RAPID MORTAGE charge my account 750, then a couple days later the appraisal charges 550 to my card then they charge me 220, then I get charged again from appraisal co. I called paul and was told my funds would be returned and it's now months later and haven't gotten anything from rapid mortgage or class evaluation,there has to be a law that stop companies from bad practices with loans and refinancing,constantly blaming underwriter for clients jumping through hoops to try and get a better rate or lower payment

      We have never done business with *** ******** nor do we have, or have ever had an loan application from him or from any address that matches what he has given as the address in Illinois. We have no record of his name, phone number, or email address listed in any of our systems.  We have no one currently working for Rapid Mortgage Company by the name of Paul, and we do not do business with any vendors named class evaluation.  *** ******** has us confused with another mortgage company of similar name.  The complaint needs to be re-directed to the appropriate company, and I would urge *** ******** to look at his loan documentation to find the NMLS ID of both the company and the loan officer that he was working with.  These numbers are required on nearly every document he would have received, and would be in the email signatures of the people he was working with.  

       

      As a resource for the complainant, I will provide him with the Illinois Dept of Financial and Professional Regulation contact information.  *** ******** can reach out to that department to find out about making a claim against the actual mortgage company that he was transacting business with.
