    -April 1st the invoice was supposed to be paid.
    -the amount they want for the move is $3902 which was the exact amount quoted originally.
    -They committed that if it took less time, and less items to move it would be cheaper. I checked in with the owners to ensure this was still correct and it was. We got possession early
    -We got possession of our home 1 week early. To save on moving costs after verifying with them it would be cheaper, we moved all individual items myself and all boxes myself. It was just furniture remaining. Before the move date i asked for a revision of the quote because it was very different from when he first met with us. they didn't end up doing that. When the movers arrived they didn't understand why they brought such a big truck for such little items. I heard him call the owners and discuss which took them an even longer time to get going because it was vastly different from the original quote. they took their time moving the items. 12 hours including the hour it took them to get started and 1 hour for lunch. I received the invoice, and it was the exact same as the quote which is not accurate anymore. I disputed it and they disagreed. I expressed my situation to 6 other moving companies and 4 of them supplied me quotes for what it would actually cost, and advised me that I'm being price gauged and there is no way a move like that would have cost that much and that i should report them.
    -i tried to communicate and work with them to get a more accurate quote and i was accused of arguing and then insulted. BEYOND unprofessional.
    -this morning the owner gave me an 18% discount which was $3200. The quotes for the other companies are still substantially different. I'm being taken advantage of and a victim of price gauging. i want to pay the invoice, but at a fair price for the value they are worth.
