      I’ve used wing eye care now known as my eye doctor for a long time. My last appointment I got my exam as normal and then picked out a new pair of glasses. When those glasses came back I couldn’t see out of them so I picked out a new frame and they were remade. When those glasses came for pickup I still couldn’t see out of them unless I lifted them off of my nose. I had my eyes re examined to make sure the prescription was correct and it was.. the eye doctor suggested trying to wear them to see if my eyes would adjust after two weeks I was fed up. Everything was blurry. I had ordered a pair online using the same prescription they provided when he told me to just try these. Those glasses came in quickly and I can see perfectly fine out of them. I had already discussed when I came in last if the glasses didn’t work I could get a refund. I have called five times now and not a single time did someone come to the phone. I’ve left a voicemail to be called back about coming in for my refund and no one had responded to my voicemail either.. so here we are. I just want my money back for the glasses I can’t wear. I have also emailed the customer email because there’s no number to call for the customer service and I have yet to receive an email back.

      I went to my yearly eye appointment on August 9 at 3:50 pm at the ******* ******** **** location and I am noticing that they have a sales person who literally makes up numbers to bill for a "fitting fee" on contact lenses. They do this yearly. This year it is even worse. They were continuing the same contacts I already have and the assistant told me to try them on to which I laughed because they are what I'm already wearing. She wasn't even there when I tried on the same product. At the end they pulled the usual where they took me to a table and asked for a ridiculous amount for a "fitting fee" to which I told them a fitting fee for the contact lenses I'm already wearing makes no sense. He wanted a few hundred dollars. Each year they do this same thing where they are seemingly on commission and see what they can get away with. Finally the man wanted to settle on $112. I made the mistake of giving him the money. When I left I looked up fitting fees for contact lenses and they only range between $45-$75! Year after year this business called "My Eye Dr." pulls this scam of making up a "fitting fee". This is needs to be stopped! The BBB needs to get involved. I ask for all of my money back to make an example of them.
