My autistic 4 year old started at Elevated Minds July 15 2024. The staff does not know how to properly communicate with parents. The establishment recently transferred to a new owner September 3 2024 and terminated my child from the facility without notice. My child arrived on the preschool van to the establishment September 4 2024 like always and the new owner refused my child and told the driver he was no longer enrolled. I made calls to get understanding and there was extreme avoidance. I had to find my son a new daycare facility. September 5 2024 I go and ask the daycare for my sons paperwork so it all can be transferred to the new place. The new owner ALICIA refused to give me what I asked for. Said she would email it but I’m not convinced I’ll ever get it. She proceeded to yell at me out the door telling me to leave and initiated a physical altercation by walking towards my direction and yelling. I never engaged, I remained calm and nice and once I was driving off, the lady Alicia proceeded to flick me off and give me the middle finger. As she was doing all of this, she simply could’ve gotten me the paperwork instead of using the energy to attack and provoke violence. I paid $50 for enrollment. I’m not sure if I get that back or not but if I do, I would like the request to receive those funds and requested paperwork on my child. My son is autistic and sees doctors and therapies and paperwork is important to show his progress as well.
