      Omnicare serving ************** is a joke. The people I talk to are rude and argumentative. My husband went into hospice, which uses a different pharmacy, at the end of May. Still I have received bills from ********* for both June and July for prescriptions that were never delivered to him and he has never taken them. Three different people at **** care were all very rude and said its not their problem. It is the location where he is staying at sends in extra prescriptions for him, even though I have talked to them numerous times and they showed me his meds and prescriptions for May, June, and July and there is nothing to show he has received anything from omnicare. ********* told me that the people have been ordering them and not telling me and that they are lying to me about what they are giving him which I do not believe..that the people have been ordering them and not telling me and that they are lying to me about what they are giving him which I do not believe. Just a second ago she mustve gone out the door she wanted to go ****** I called ******** and talked to him and he went through all of ***** medications and when they were ordered and delivered. There is nothing from omnicare in June or July. They simply had the automatic withdrawal taken out of ***** checking account for something he did not receive or did not use. I think their business practices are very sketchy since they wont give me any information about what kind of prescriptions they have filled and supposedly sent to him. Almost $300 has been taken out of his checking account which is used to pay for his expenses, and I would like to have that back because hospice has additional expenses that I need to take care of. I hope people in assisted living in memory care facilities, receive the care. They deserve and are not taking advantage of buying an unscrupulous company that is more interested in making money than helping people. Thank you for your attention to this.

      My husband was recently in a healthcare facility which used Omnicare. He passed away on April 21st. On May 13th I was sent a letter from dcm services (a collection agency) requesting I contact them. As it turns out, Omincare sent dcm information for a bill that isn't even due yet. How dare they notify a collection agency in case the bill doesn't get paid!!! I consider it nothing short of harassment. Just another reason to HATE ***!!!!

      Omni Care periodically reviews resident Rx information at my mother’s Assisted Living facility, then recommends, what they consider a better medication. I have made clear, to discontinue this for my mother. I/we consult her PCP or specialists. Omni Care recommended 1 medication that was $168, instead of ibuprofen, due to her high BP. I complained, due to cost, and her PCP found an OTC alternative that was $6.

      My husband is in an Assisted Living facility that requires that residents in the facility use Omnicare. He has only been there four months but in that short time I have learned to dread his Omnicare bills. Our Part D used to work seamlessly and we would pay $5.00 for a 90 day supply via mail order for all Tier 1 drugs. And $20.00 for a 90 day supply for a drug that was on a different tier. With Omnicare your drugs are filled at pharmacy store prices and are for only one month. But in addition, the prices for OTC products are over the top. For example: $68.75 for 25 4”x4” gauze pads. I am fighting that one. But there are many other over-priced OTC items on my bills. In the facility my husband is in there are over fifty rooms and most of them are filled but only two residents get regular visitors. My husband is one of those. The rest of the people seem to have no advocates who monitor what is happening to them.. Plus most of them have been here long enough that they are now on ******** and the attitude seems to be “Why worry? Just let Medicaid pay for it”. I will have to attribute my review to my husband since I am not the “customer- he is.

      We moved my mother into a memory-care facility (Aug. 1, 2022) and they have a contract with Omnicare of Whippany to fill resident/patient prescriptions. My mother has Medicare AB &D, with **** Rx through ****** **********. Omincare charges for her generic drugs were 6 times what ********* had previously charged for the same medications. I am not exaggerating -- 6 times the price! Omnicare also charged $57 for a tube of ********l cream that had been $7 at ********* -- a $50 markup that they attributed to a co-pay that had not been charged by ********* a few months earlier this year. Omnicare is likely taking advantage of many other families of seniors, as well, hoping that the families will not pay attention or worry that by arguing they are depriving their loved ones of care. Don't feel guilty for being gouged! Get another pharmacy. The government should investigate Omincare for fraud.

      If I could rate this company a minus I would. It is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. When my husband entered *************** I was forced to get his prescriptions from Omnicare. The first month I was charged $1700.00 for his pers r options that would have cost me $56.09 at my pharmacy. The never mailed my bills and kept sending invoices to a defunct email address. They sent me collection letters and I called and told them to mail me a invoice. I told them I wanted a paper **** and dont email me anymore. I paid my account in full in May but they kept telling me I had not paid. I sent confirmation of payment from my bank and also a copy of my bank statement showing payment. They still insist I have not paid. I want them to leave me alone and I never want to hear from them again.
