I would not recommend Kyle D******** of Matrix Dry Needle PT for dry needling. I feel that I was taken advantage of due to my emotional stress I was under and told him when I explained why I was in pain. Before I went to see him, I was told via text the sessions would be $150 but after my first visit he convinced me to purchase a plan of 7 visits for $1390. Unfortunately I didn't question it because I was in so much pain. I was also told by him that most insurances covered 30-40%, mine doesn't cover anything but that is on me I realize. I also discovered he charged me tax when I looked at my credit card bill, which I didn't know is possible for medical treatments. He also didn’t provide the 7th session as he said he gave me a “brain balance” treatment during one of them which counted as 2 sessions. I was never consulted about whether I wanted this “brain balance” and wasn’t even aware that he did it except for one of the treatments I had blood on my head and top of forehead when I got home. I feel he totally took advantage of me. When I told him I would be reporting him, he offered to refund me $100. I told him considering I had expected to pay $150 and only had 6 sessions I would like $575. He then said he'd give me 2 free sessions instead of a refund. I declined. BTW, none of my symptoms have gone away, I'm still having as much pain as when I went to him the first time.

This is Kyle D********* owner of Matrix dry needle physical therapy. We are a cash based practice with a potential for out of network physical therapy benefits. These benefits are not guaranteed and vary upon each plan. Typically people receive an average of 30 to 40% reimbursement. ***** ******* was treated as a patient between the dates of September 17th through October 7th. On the first visit, she signed a consent form which confirmed our "no refund policy" and described the rules of the package, she chose to purchase, and the extra cost of the brain balance treatment. The package visits include a full hour of dry needling, infrared blanket treatment, electrical stimulation treatment and massage gun therapy; much more than $150 treatments, of which she could have chosen. Despite our "no refund policy," I offered her a partial refund out of courtesy, which she did not accept. Then I offered the extra visit she complained she did not get, plus an additional visit as courtesy, and she did not accept. We are sorry the insurance company did not reimburse her, which is out of our control, and feel under the circumstances, we have done our due diligence to rectify this issue. Dry needling is a highly acclaimed treatment, widely used in the professional athletic realm, because it almost always produces significant results. It is extremely rare to have no benefit. I would recommend Ms. ******* to check in with her primary care physician to continue a new course of treatment.

i will add, Matrix dry needle is a veteran dry needling facility for over 17 years, the 1st to dry needle in **********. While ***** was under our care, we had many heartfelt pleasant conversations, particularly about the stress she is under due to being in the process of divorce. Her treatment was extremely comprehensive, including her neck, shoulders, arms, scapula, low back, gluteal muscles, legs and internal systems such as the nervous system and digestive system due to her stress. Home exercises, stress management exercises and prayer were administered during treatment. Matrix dry needle is also a Christian based practice with genuine concern for the welfare of our patients as a human being, not just a condition. We deeply cared for *****, just as we do for all of our patients. We have many positive reviews concerning our treatment and miracle healings that have occurred!

I was not told about the brain balance until my 6th visit when he said it was my last and I told him I paid for 7. Kyle may explain it most times to patients but I promise you I was not told about it until my last visit. It was then that he told me he did a brain balance (whatever that is) and it counted as 2 sessions. I'm guessing it's the visit where I had blood on my scalp and forehead and texted him when I got home asking why it was bleeding. I had no idea what he had done. When I went for my first visit there was no mention of the cost until he was finished (I was expecting it would be $150) told me that I would need extra care but never went into explanation until after the 2nd visit when I questioned him. I agree it's my fault for paying the amount I wasn't prepared to pay but I feel like I was totally taken advantage of and don't want this to happen to anyone else. As far as him offering a "partial refund out of courtesy", he offered $100 which I did not feel was adequate. I also didn't accept the offer of 2 more visits since the first 6 didn't do any good. I do have copies of all the texts between us as well as a picture of my scalp bleeding if it would help.

Wow! Talk about gaslighting! ****, you may truly believe everything you say but in my opinion, you use religion to con people. I'm sure you're qualified to help and have been successful with many;; unfortunately not me. But, the method you use to convince people is utterly shameful. I'm somewhat religious and I'm guessing God is not agreeing with your methods. Good luck to you! I just hope you don't take advantage of others as you did me.
