      I have lived at ****** apartments for 6 years, Ive seen a lot of staff come and go this the worst staff theyve had. ****** the property manager specifically. The way she talked to be on the phone was very rude. We have a valet trash service which we pay for gas constantly missed my trash. So Sunday they missed me again so Monday night I had a couple extra bags and they charged me$75 fee which is crazy considering their trash company is constantly missing my trash which is why I had extra bags. So instead of ****** fixing it and just getting rid of the fee she doubled down and was very rude over the phone. I move out soon thankfully, dont live here save your money.

      We loved the community and the comfort of the apartment in the ******* ** ****** ****. Marissa in the office was wonderful with trying to assist us with any issues we had, especially with the mandatory renovation that Hills did last January. But this is about as much as I can positively say about Hills Property Management. The 17% rent increase after the renovation was beyond our being able to call it affordable, so we left at the end of our lease in November. We didn't want to, we just couldn't afford any further increases due to our fixed income. When we moved out and turned in our keys, Marissa wrote down our forwarding address. It is now January 28th and we still have NOT received our security deposit back. We contacted Marissa who is trying to keep us informed, but we keep getting excuses blaming it on corporate with few results, no sense of urgency, no one willing to work out another solution to get it to us sooner. Finally on January 14th they said we would have it to us by January 23rd and I received nothing. Following up, they said it was actually mailed on January 23rd and I am asked to keep waiting. I even offered to pay for an overnight label and just get ignored. This is bordering on criminal, and it is beyond frustrating. I cannot positively recommend this company.

      If you read reviews on this apartment complex, there has been some bad ones in the last few months on how terrible the move out process is. They will find ways to charge you for more than what your security deposit covers. They are telling me and my fianc that small nails are unapproved holes and that we were told to cover them up. I attached the emails they sent to me and my fianc, in which, no where does it state to fill in the holes. They also told us that the carpet was last replaced in 2020 and therefore we were being charged a replacement fee, because we did not get the carpets cleaned, when in the contract it states they would arrange for the carpets to be cleaned if needed. They dont care about their tenants, because we had mold growing in our apartment and when they finally treated it, they didnt fix the discoloration and decided to charge us for it. They are state that you can not have bird feeders on your patio, in which the people upstairs had one and so the bird seeds were being drugged into our apartment when letting out dogs out. We told the apartment complex and they did nothing about the issue, instead decided to charge us to replace the carpet. Avoid all of this hassle and shop elsewhere for an apartment.
