      I am reaching out today to attempt to get a rectification for my issue. I placed an order today, 2/15/2024 for a birthday gift for a friend, with Adrian Durban Florist online. The items included were a teddy bear, balloons and a cake at which i paid $133.21 for said items and the order number is 469813. The issue at hand is the cake. I did receive a call from the florist asking if I wanted anything written on the card I stated sure. I asked the caller of an EDT, I was told around 3ish. No other conversation was had. Also, while being on the phone I felt unprofessionally rushed off the phone. I received notice from the recipient she received her items. The issue is the cake is chocolate and the recipient doesn't like chocolate. When I placed the order it is pictured on there website the decoration on the cake may differ, however it didn't specify the icing flavor and cake flavor would be. I feel like had the website specified this, I would have made a note "No chocolate cake, no chocolate icing". When I called the company to get a resolution I was told, "there wasn't a note specifying any substitutions, there's nothing we can do.. I would suggest just giving it to her friends. " Now, as i go look on the website, there isn't an option to make substitutions, however there is a spot for delivery instructions. In my opinion that isn't the same.
