2 starsWhen the work was finally done, it was nice. Here is my experience dealing with them until that point. This was really frustrating, and I was patient with them, and gave them time to make a new screen. 3/22/25 - order placed 6/6/25 - Door installed Friday with squeak. The installers were aware of the sound and place the work order (that day) in and explained that someone will follow up. No one followed up on the work order about the sound. 6/9/25 - following Monday sent email to sales about the wrong screen. They installed a standard screen instead of pet proof screen. I got a response that they would look into it. We also reached out about the sound and inquired when someone will be here to fix the sound. Was told that they would look into that as well. 6/11/25 - sent follow up email about the screen after getting no response 6/12/25 - talked with ***** about the screen / sound again. They said it would take 2 - 3 weeks to complete 6/19/25 - email update about screen door being manufactured 7/9/25 - I call (not them) to check on status. Screen is finished. I ask what day (M-F) i needed to be home to get the screen and squeak fixed. They told me they can come Monday (7/14). I agree, thinking that IF THEY PICKED THAT DAY, someone would be available.7/14/25 - No one called to let me know they were coming. I check in with ***** around 10. Around noon, a ***** employee calls back. She said they have someone scheduled today, but they can only fix the squeak because no one is available to install screen No one showed up 7/15/25 - Wife calls *****. Lady is rude over the phone and gaslights her, even though I sent updates about the door throughout the day. Lady tells her someone will come Wednesday between 8 - 12 to fix both issues. 7/16/25 - showed up to fix door, as expected.Review fromTom O

I contacted/met with nine different companies regarding a switch from wood to vinyl windows. My greatest concern was being able to keep my custom day/night blinds (23 of them). Gilkey was the ONLY company willing to work with me on that...sending out five different technicians to find a way to make it happen and be sure the window warranty would not be voided. It worked!!!The windows are now installed and 'wow' I should have done this years ago. The inside is so much quieter with the windows closed. I don't hear the wind or rain anymore. The biggest downside (not really) is that my dogs used to be a natural doorbell. Now they don't hear someone in the driveway, and don't know when the ****** person is here for a delivery. I actually have to pay attention now. The installation was extremely smooth. Everyone was professional throughout the long day of installation, and I had NO cleanup to do after installation. There were a few screens they weren't happy with (I didn't notice until the installers showed me), but they replaced them a few weeks later and let me keep the old ones.Gilkey Window Company Inc.

I am pleased with the install and the products overall. The installers were very polite and did a nice job with the install. They cleaned up after themselves which I appreciated very much!I am disappointed the screen on my 17k door is not operational due to a defective slide. I have to wait for a new track to come in and the installer to come back out to rectify the problem. I'm confident this will be taken care of quickly.I was also given a "homeowner's packet" after the initial install. Among other information, a "Gilkey Window Acceptable Glass Guide" was included which discusses in detail what Gilkey determines to be acceptable scratches or imperfections. I think this should have been discussed up front in the sales meeting. Having said that, I see nothing on the product itself that I have issues with in that regard.Gilkey Window Company Inc.
