This vehicle was towed into our facility as a non-drive on August 13th. The vehicle then had to wait for the insured insurance to come and complete their initial estimate. Once we received their original estimate we ordered the suspension parts to make the vehicle mobile. After suspension parts arrived we dragged vehicle in to complete 70% of suspension so then the vehicle could be moved around without causing anymore damages. At this point we completed a full disassembly and sent a supplement up to the insurance. The insurance came out and completed their supplement on September 5th. We then ordered all supplemental parts so we could begin the repair to the vehicle. Due to some parts issues with the parts the insurance carrier quoted, there were additional delays. The vehicle is currently in the final repair process and we are hoping to deliver this within the next few days.

Bad experience with a front end alignment. When they finished, the steering wheel was turned to the left and it still pulled to the right. They agreed to redo it, so I made another appointment. I dropped the car off before 3pm and the "service manager" drove my car inside. I decided to watch the alignment check from outside so after 20 minutes my car was still in the aisle, untouched! The "service manager" noticed me watching and met me outside. He said " it's aligned to spec".....I asked " even though the wheel is 3 or 4 degrees off to the left and it still pulls to the right". He said " I don't know what to tell you". I asked him to do what he agreed to and correct the issue. He said he wasn't going to, because my car has smaller tires than it came out with new. I informed him the tire size doesn't matter as long as both sides are the same ( my tires are 1 inch shorter than factory). He then said " I'm not going to argue about this and brought my car to me.
I will NEVER use Perfection One again for anything!

Mr. Hixon, you provided alignment specifications to your vehicle. We aligned the vehicle to those exact specifications and provided you a copy of the alignment sheet showing that the vehicle was aligned to the specifications that you wanted. We also maintain a copy of that alignment sheet in our records. That is the service you requested and that is the service we provided. Nothing more, nothing less.

We did not agree to redo the alignment for you, we agreed that you could bring your car back in and we would take a look at it. That we did do, myself the service manager did not pull your vehicle in. I was currently on a test drive at the time of your arrival. The lead mechanic did. He noticed that you had tires on it that weren't to spec and that the wheels appeared to be in line though your steering wheel was very slightly off center.

This issue was brought to our attention a month after the initial alignment(plenty of time for you to contact us with any issues). You also announced that you took the vehicle to another shop to have it checked out where they went all over your suspension. Thus voiding any type of warranty we would have provided. You were informed that your vehicle being 30+ years old was probably going to need some new bushings and components due to age.

As for being told we weren't going to argue with you, you are correct. I did state that when you became aggressive and visibly upset. Raising your voice to the point of yelling in the parking lot. Stating that our mechanics didn't know how to perform alignments among other things. I stated that we perform hundreds of alignments per year and have zero issues with any of them. At that point I told you I wasn't going to argue with you, gave you your vehicle back, and asked you politely to please not come back. We stand by that statement at this time.
