I am filling a complaint against a business called Tone’s Wireless
Because they scammed me out of my iPhone 11 .
They did not even show up in your database of businesses in the country.

On March 9th 2022 I brought my phone into their store accompanied by my Mpm for a cracked screen replacement.
They told me they could do it for $80.00 and would take a half an hour.

I said that’s fine, proceed with the repair.
He worked on my phone for over an hour, while taking breaks to pray.
After repairing my phone, he said that it has to charge before it can power on.
I patiently waited for almost 2 hours

My mother who was waiting in the car came in to inquire what was taking so long?
I explained to her that we were waiting for the phone to charge.
It’s dark outside and the store is now closing.

The phone powers on and the technician hands me the phone to put in the passcode to unlock the phone.
I put in the passcode that I have used all year and the phone rejects the passcode. I try it again just in case I made an error. The phone rejects the passcode again.

At this time the technician takes the phone from my hand and begins to ask for payment for the repair.
I refuse to pay for a phone that is locked.

So the technician and the other workers behind the counter began demanding payment very aggressively.

The store is now closed and I am the only customer in the store . My mother has went back to wait in the car.

The 3 workers in the store are demanding payment for the repair

They are getting more frustrated because I won’t pay for the repair.
So I now feel like they are trying to intimidate me, so I leave the store without my iPhone.

I would like payment for my iPhone 11 and punitive damages for my inconvenience.
