A Technician from Stapleton came to my home to hook up a hot tub we had purchased in and around January. I took the morning off work for the appointment. When the gentleman arrived he assessed the service request and said "I will have to do some research on this". They could not come back for three weeks. It's getting cold and pipes can freeze. The man came back to hook it up and the breaker would trip. We called the place where we purchased the hot tub and they gave us a name of ****** Electric who came right away. He was able to get the electric done properly and hot tub was on so no damage was done to the hot tub. I sent a letter to Stapleton explaning this situation and informed him since I had to pay ****** Electric for the service I would not be paying his invoice. He continues to call me about this. I did tell him I am willing to take this up in Court as I cannot imagine any Judge would order me to pay for a service that did not work. Especially electric and in an item that has water. This created a huge safety fear for me and my kids.

I wish she would call to discuss this. There was no water in the Hot Tub at either time our technician was out. We were busy, so we did not put a high priority on the call as the hot tub was empty. Our technician was given a manual with several different wiring diagrams in the manual and hooked it up per a drawing that was for a lower amperage model, an honest mistake that that we would've made right electrically and financially, however, she never called us to inform us that the breaker was tripping or we would've corrected it and made it a priority had she told us she put water in the hot tub but we were never called. She sent a video of an electrician making multiple false accusations that are clearly able to be proven false from the video footage. The only issue was the hot tub required 2 two pole breakers verses a two pole and a single pole like the other model in the manual. The breaker panel would not accommodate an additional breaker, so she had to have the panel upgraded to a larger panel which is what the other electrician did. I told her we would take the cost of the hot tub work off of the bill and I wanted to discuss the additional work done at their house never giving her a price just asking to discuss. They had smart switches that they had purchased and tried to install and couldn't not get working. We determined that this switch needed additional wiring. They had already attempted to hook up the switch and it was bad probably from improper wiring. We ran the wires and explained to her bf or husband how to hook up the new switch when he got it or he could call us back if he wanted as it wouldn't take long now that the new wires were fished down the wall and into the box. I tried to contact her to inform her what amount was the hot tub verses switching and also to apologize and explain the false accusations made in the video. I also wanted to discuss what time and material was involved in the switching and what we could do to reduce that for the inconvenience as I did not just want to send her another bill unexplained, but she did not reply. I sent another text a month later only to receive slanderous text, never even discussing with me the cost of the work performed. She explained she tells everyone she talks to negative remarks about Stapleton, and I merely wanted to talk and discuss the false accusations and see what we could agree on with the switching that we worked on willing to deduct money for the inconvenience. In May we contacted her about her past due bill and I became aware of the issue and wanted to investigate what went wrong. They sent the documentation and video that helped me understand where the issue was and hear the false accusations towards my company/employee. I choose to reach out in a few weeks later to try and discuss it. She did not reply. I choose to reach out again end of July to which brought about her creating this post still never contacting me to discuss the false accusations her electrician made and not even hear what her actual bill was for the other work in her house or what we were willing to do. All grounding and electric was done correctly and to code no risk was ever present, hot tub was just under powered.
