  This review is long over due. My fiancé and I rented a house from ***** ******* in Old Town East in 2015. He is a horrible human being, let alone landlord. For starters he lived across the street from the house we rented, and he would show up unexpectedly all the time, sometimes drunk, and once with his pants button and zipper undone. He also had security cameras installed on the outside of our house, and when we asked to reset the password information, he was not willing to let us be the only ones with access to the cameras, he wanted to have the password info too. He essentially wanted to be able to spy on our house with us living there. I honestly think that may have been illegal. The house was supposedly renovated before us moving in, however it was all just aesthetic renovations. He had a very nice brand new gas stove in the unit for the walk through, and then when we moved in all of the nice appliances were switched out to used cheap garbage appliances that he found 2nd hand. He told us that his wife wanted that stove and appliances in their house across the street. The window frames were crooked, counter tops not sealed, and the ceiling collapsed once. We were the first renters after he bought the house and attempted to fix it up, but he continued to show up even after we moved in to continue working on the house with us living in it. When we told him that we were unhappy with the house, and with him showing up all the time, he became very very angry and hostile. He insisted that it was HIS house and he could do anything he wanted and show up whenever he wants. We were forced to take legal action, and break our lease early just to get away from him. AVOID ***** ******* at all costs.
