    V&R is a good hard money lender. However, I personally had a negative experience with the company which impacted deadlines. To be fair, the loan was on a very tight timeline, which was unconventional, so these problems probably would not have happened with most loans. **** was very communicative and accommodating at first, but towards closing, either due to him being very busy or just negligence, was not communicative, did not answer phone calls or emails, and did not complete tasks from the title company so we could not close on time. Despite reassuring me that we were on track, one day before closing, **** did not complete items on time and caused the entire transaction to not close on time because he was out of town for another deal. I would not say that this company will prioritize your loan or that I would trust them to complete items in a timely manner. Although the interest rate is lower with V&R, I would not work with them again. **** risked the entire deal by not being on top of the necessary tasks needed to complete the deal. In short, poor communication, and missed deadlines.
