"BBB took a complaint over the phone. Below is the voicemail voice
My name is ***** *****, *********, *********. My phone number is **********. My case number is ********. What happened is, I send my car by triple A to that place which is he called it Abes Auto, it's in ********, and this guy take my car, it's like seven or eight days, and he said to me, it will cost you $800, and he asked me to send the money through Zelle, and he don't accept any credit or anything, just Zelle or cash. So I did send to him through Zelle the money, and after that he gave me the car. My car had the same problem. He said to me, I didn't change stuff and that and that and that. My car had the same problem. So I went back to the guy and I said to him, the car had the same problem. So, he did test it and he came back and he said to me, sorry, I was just trying to help, but you need to pay another 3000 so this car can be fixed. I said to him, you already said to me 800 and you said to me that your car is working well. He said to me, sorry, I was just trying to help, but it doesn't work. I said to him, so, okay, what about my 800 I paid? He said to me, sorry, I was just trying to help. He said to him, you didn't say to me that. He said to me, you need 800 to fix the car, and the car still had the same problem. And at the end, I just took my car, and it's still the same problem. I barked in front of my house, and I'm using my wife's car, and I just don't know what to do. You know, he didn't want to give me my money back. And at the same time, he didn't want to even give me a receipt for what I paid. He refused. I said to him, okay, give me a receipt for what I paid so I can take it and do whatever I want to do. He said, no, sorry, I don't give a receipt. So I don't do a receipt and he don't do anything like, I don't know how that works. So I still have the same problem. And I did make a complaint for the general attorney, and I did make a report for you too, because I have no idea how that guy works like this, and he's just taking money and he doesn't fix anything, and he just refused to give me my money back. I just need my refund. That's all what I need. I just need my refund, and that's it, because really, he takes money, for me, I feel it's It's wasted money. Thank you so much. he's toyota coming my shop by towing truck the car had axle baring broken.
Then we change axle rare left driver side also i will showing him the shft we change and his taken the car driven back
after two weeks he called the car had noise i said bring the car and I will drive it
when I drive the car I heard differential noise I tall him we not fix the differential we fixing the axle shaft only.
take the car to dealer and inspect the complete differential he's said ok but I didnt know he's not doing
Anyway he's car had differential problems not axle i keep the old axle for his evidence

the main problem was to change the complete differential!!
and thats what i asked him to do !!
and when i ask him to do that .. he said we dont need to do that and i will do my work by my way and it will cost you just $800.00..
i said ok do whatever you see it right to fix the car.
and after i went to get my car and i found the car making the same noises so i went back to him.
so all what he did he bought and old part from the junkyard which cost like $50 to $100 and he said that he fix it!!
and after all of that he said sorry and yes we need to change the complete differential as you said to me first time!!
i said to him that thats what i asked you to do first and you wasted my money!!
he said sorry i was just trying to help!!! and he refused to give me refund and refused to give me receipt for my payment and he said he dont give customers receipts!!
and here is my payment through Zelle because this person he accept only cash or payment through Zelle!!!!!Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: the main problem was to change the complete differential!!

Here is what I paid from my bank account through Zelle because the Owner of the shop accept only money through Zelle or Cash
And he didnt accept to give me refund because he didnt fix the problem and at the same time refused to give me receipt for what i paid.

i message him he didnt answer and i called him and he refused everything and he said do whatever you want do.

It is not true that "at the end he takes $800 and does zero job" We did change the axle and bearing. The old one that was bad is still here as seen in the attachment we sent last time. Also we did not make $800 because the parts cost $400.
We checked the vehicle and the axle bearing was bad. It was fixed when he took it. The differential problem happened later. We can not fix a differential for $800. The part alone is $1800.

i said when i came first that the problem in the deferential and you said after you checked it dont worry i will fix it and you dont need to buy the full deferential !!
so i paid $800 for nothing!! Because the part you changed will not work till you change the full deferential as i said to you first time!!!
That main problem that I told you about the part that needs to be replaced,
and you pretended to be a professional mechanic and you said that you don't need a new part and that you will fix it your way!!!
It doesn't matter to me that you bought a old part from the junkyard and changed a part in the car that has nothing to do with the main problem in my car!!
you just dont know your job and you have no experience or you was just trying to take any money for doing nothing because you are greedy!!
can you tell me how your shop works in *** for 2 years and you accept only cash or through Zelle ???
and plus all of that you refused to give receipts for the customers?!!!
do you know the law in ***??
do you know that its very suspicious that you dont accept any payment expect through zelle or cash??
and plus that refusing to giving the customer receipt is a violation!!

The worst mistake i did that i listened to the person who directed me to your shop.
He is as ignorant of car repair as you are. Or maybe you gives him a percentage of the money i paid .. when he directs someone to your shop!!

If you only accept money through Zille or Cash and refused to give me a receipt, so anything is possible.

On the 12 th of November I went to Addis Auto and met with ***** to discuss a repair to my vehicle .We came to an agreement on the price and date.when I came back to have the work done ***** broke another system on my vehicle and is refusing to repair the parts or reimburse me for the cost of the repairs.
