They don't go by regular court procedures. I never was called to court about the debt they bought. And now they are garnishing my checks! They claimed that they picked up the debt in 2019. So it took you 6 years to find me? And the debt isn't even mine!! Crooks!!

Blood sucking thieves. They make no contact whatsoever in regards to a debt until it's almost time for state limitations to be in effect. Had a debt from 2015 and they waited until it was almost 7 years. No notice other than a letter that their gonna garnish wages. They don't care if you can't afford the 25%. You get no warning whatsoever. If they can find your employer, they can find you to send a letter regarding the debt and a chance to work it out. They will refile a motion every 5 years which resets the clock on your debt. Fortunately, there's a 15 year time limit. They cannot refile motions after its been 15 years. Word of advice, do like us, file bankruptcy. Nip them in the bud. $1300 to do it is better than losing twice that a month for however long they collect.Levy & Associates, LLC

Any business that buys debt for a discount in order to make money is an obvious snake. I will say they werent to rude to me but then again i live about 30 minutes away from there office and we would have had a more personal conversation at that time. They were basically gonna sue me over unpaid interest because the loan was paid. I am glad i set up payments though because reading some of these reviews were these people freeze your account things would have gotten really bad for all of us. The rich dont stay rich for no reason. Personally i took this as a valuable ******* **** people aint talking you into no loan with out a motive. Personally i think Im gonna file bankruptcy so they can shove everything right up main street.Levy & Associates, LLC

Tried reaching out to get my account number and was treated like trash. I asked the gentleman to please listen to my question. The account number provided to me was not mine. I asked him why a 16 digit account number would change to a smaller one. I then emailed and 3 days went by and finally received and a call only to have the person not introduce the company had to ask multiple times and would still not address the issues and he hung up. Glad they want me to pay someone elses debit. I just want to pay mine. What a joke of a company.Levy & Associates, LLC

On November 14, 2024 I learned these folks froze my whole account. I have had no luck in getting in touch with these people leaving messages over and over again, and when someone finally answers I get transferred to someone else only to leave a message again. I need to speak with someone and pay whatever I need to and unfreeze my account. These people have no respect for peoples livelihood. My account is still frozen !!!Levy & Associates, LLC

**** and Associates is a game and should be looked into. These people never sent any documents to my parents' home and garnished their bank account. We had to drive to several Justice of the Peace just to locate this judgement. With surprise, the judgement was filed in 2011 without our knowledge. The documents reflect my father owe $3400 and with a $511 it appears they revive the judgement 9/23/24. Nothing on the order reflects any past due and interest amount. My parents had been trying to contact them for weeks. There checks are bouncing due to this freeze. They finally called back today, the person who we spoke to was rude. I explained to him my dad had cancer around the time the credit card went into default, but he was an able to pay off other cards after beating cancer and we never received any documents. I explained to him the bank told us to contact them to release the garnishment. He told me there's nothing he can do, and my dad owes $7500. I told him that's incorrect and the amount is not in their new filing with the new cause number regarding any interest and etc. I asked to settle the account, and he told me nope they are not willing to settle. This is disgusting as my parents can lose everything over $3400 that went up to $7500 without anyone's knowledge. **** and Associates needs to be stopped and investigated because this is cruel. No one can help if they fall ill and their life is on the line and other family members have to step and assist. All they want is money. I pray this business goes down and I will be contacting my local news as well as filing a complaint on the judge who signed the order. **** and Associates count your days!Levy & Associates, LLC

I've been attempting to contact this office, leave message to return call and no return call, I signed an agreement to lower my garnishment from 25% to 15% and mailed it back months ago and was suppose to receive refund because of the adjustment and nothing has been done yet, also difficult to get a hold of the court to get this fixed as well, need this corrected trying to avoid filing bankruptcy because this causing me to be behind on my rent and facing evictionLevy & Associates, LLC

I've been trying to get ahold of this company for a week now. No one answers. They take days to message or email back which leads to no where. All I want to do is pay what I owe in full but they are not getting back to me at all. I don't know what to do. I just want to get this resolved but is definitely frustrating not getting a call back or a proper back n forth email to get this paid and resolved.Levy & Associates, LLC

I have been paying on a bill they took me to court over for 2 years now. I pay faithfully each and every month. I called to check my payoff balance and it was significantly different than what I had. I explained that the judgement order the judge signed has a certain amount and they tell me that is not what they have and they are refusing to go by what they judge signed. It is a racket that you are trying to pay the bill and make things right and they continually add on costs that are not in the original judgement. I am not paying anymore than what is on my signed judgement. I have tried working with them and just received a letter pretty much stating to bad you have to pay what we have even though it is not the same as the judgement order.
