    On July 21, 2022 I purchased a VIP ticket to Breakaway festival as it was set to take place in Oakland on October 14&15 as an outdoor event. A week and a half before the festival date, the venue changed to an indoor venue in San Francisco. As someone who lives with someone at high risk for COVid 19, an indoor venue with no testing or vax requirement is outside my risk tolerance and not an event I would have purchased tickets for. Organizers initially said they would offer refunds if requested, and two members of my group received a refund. However, my email requests have been denied and no reason was given. On top of this, I received no communication from the event organizer or ticket servicer about the venue change; I found out purely through word of mouth. I’ve since reached out to both the organizer (prime social group) and the servicer (front gate tickets) but received no response. The total lack of customer support, inconsistent application of refunds, disregard for patron health concerns, and questionable business practices are why I’m submitting this report to the BBB. I would caution anyone against attending an event put on by this group.

    The attached documents are my proof of purchase, communication to date and the proof of refund given to my friends but denied to me.
