B****** V*** aka N*** came over to discuss adding 4" concrete for a room addition, driveway extension sidewalk approximately 600 square feet around the new room and 8x9 basketball court concrete pad. B****** brought a contract and he required half of the cost up to be paid up front and the rest after completion.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

She had a contract with T****** M***, her ex-husband's nephew from April. She's trying to get a job done from when he put her in a bind. She saw me in my concrete truck, and came over. I told her I wasn't doing concrete this late in the year.

He left a 10' high pile of mud in the backyard which we took care of for her.

I told her we can't get a truck or concrete buggy back there. I told her she cannot pay 8 guys to run wheelbarrows of concrete back one at a time 80 yards.

I have been out with my salesman and we have explained to her that it is too wet and the wrong time of year to pour concrete.

I am in arears $2400 on this job: concrete - she stopped payment for the concrete and the company has sought payment from me, Bobcat $500, dump truck: $300 with gravel, concrete buggy: $200.

As soon as the ground hardens in the Spring, we can come back out.

Concrete Job (B****** V***) - BBB of Complaint #********* THE LAST TIME WE TALKED TO BBB B****** V*** SAID HE WAS WAITING ON THE WEATHER TO GET BETTER SO HE CAN FINISH THE CONCRETE JOB HE WAS ALREADY PAID FOR. ALSO, IN B******S LAST RESPONSE HE SAID HE TOLD US HE COULDNT DO THE JOB BECAUSE IT WAS LATE IN THE SEASON. HIS ENTIRE STATEMENT IS A LIE. IF THAT WAS THE CASE WHY DID B****** V*** GIVE US A SIGNED CONTRACT AND TOOK OUR MONEY. WE WANT RESOLUTION.
