    Details:
Date of service for estimate: 07-01-2024
-Business committed to provide me with an estimate for materials for a potential basement finish project. During the visit on 7/1, the contractor was performing an estimate by measuring various areas in the basement. The contractor knocked over the television and cracked the screen.
After the television was knocked over, the contractor made several accusations. He stated that I did it or the television was already broken. He kept repeating it was an accident and wanted to proceed with doing the estimate. I wanted to talk about the television, but he stated we will talk about the television after he was done doing the estimate.

When he was finished doing the estimate, he attempted to leave without discussing how he would resolve the television issue. We started back and forth on our mobile devices using translating apps to discuss the television. He stated various reasons below
*Needed to leave because he had a lot of work to do
*Mentioned that we are Christians and included God as a reason I should forgive him and that I was his sister (in a friendly way I assume)
*Recommended that I call the police to handle the issue
He then pulled out his wallet to show me he did not have enough money to pay me. So, I stated that I had some lighting and light switches I was going to pay another contractor to install and asked if he could just do the installations to cover the costs that I was going to pay anyway for another contractor's services.

He shook my hand in agreement and told me he would be back on Saturday. He never showed or called to say he was not coming. I text him 2 different days after a few days had passed and he has apparently refused to respond to my message to fix what we agreed upon.
