      I have been a loyal customer of Dublin Cleaners for the last five years. On May 21, 2024, I put my dry cleaning outside my door for pickup and service as usual. My laundry never returned. Dublin Cleaners picked up other items in the building that day. The building is a secure building that requires a fob to gain access. Management confirmed that Dublin Cleaners used their fob that day. However, they denied picking up my laundry even though my bag was missing the same day. Dublin Cleaners refuses to take responsibility for the missing items. Their refusal to file an insurance claim or compensate me for the missing items is disappointing and frustrating. I continue to receive the runaround from Dublin Cleaners' employees and even the general manager.

      Furthermore, the owner was extremely rude. He denies any wrongdoing and challenges my integrity by accusing me of attempting to scam the business out of an extreme amount of money.

      I request that the business acknowledge the mistake and compensate me for the missing laundry items.

      Mr ***** has been escalated to all levels of management and hours of time went into researching his claims  

      To get a pickup one must respond to a text the night before. He did not. We have his communication history going back years when he did and did not.   He had not asked for a pickup for over two weeks before this date, on this date, or since this date to present  

      We were in the building that day, not on his floor.   We had no reason to go to his floor because neither he nor another resident of his floor replied for pick-up.   They have elevator security cameras that can back this up.

      This date is also inconsistent with his very regular past pattern.  We realize that is not objective but it further speaks to nothing making sense here.  He swears he replied to the text but that he cannot or will not produce any screen shots.  We can show screen shots of no response for weeks.

      He further cannot confidently identify any specific missing clothing. He’s simply decided that he buys expensive clothing so we owe him 15 shirts and a suit that he claims would be about $3,000. 

      We can provide all this in data and recordings of our phone calls.  We are greatly saddened that he refuses to acknowledge how illogical his claim is after so many years as a client but he’s simply wrong and offers nothing but speculation and his own memory which in no way matches up to hard data on our side.

      Dublin cleaners ruined two custom dress shirts by melting the buttons into the fabric. The shirts were worth approximately $275. They asked for proof they ruined the shirts so asked for us to send them back to them. We did, they acknowledged the shirts were ruined and offered to pay for them. We sent a copy of the receipts for the shirts. They kept the shirts and have not paid us for them. They will not answer the phone or call us back.

      Separately, a month or so later they ruined a sweater by washing it, instead of dry cleaning it, shrinking it from a men's large to something a toddler could not fit into. The sweater was worth $119. We have called 5+ times and have received no response.

      Please note that the business (Dublin Cleaners) has not contacted me yet.  The form you e-mailed would not allow me to send a message back so I am e-mailing here instead.  Attached is a picture of the sweater they ruined.  It was an adult male large.  It would now be small on an 8 year old.  I can’t send pictures of the two shirts they ruined because they required me to send them back as proof they destroyed them.  When I did, they kept the shirts and never responded to our multiple requests for a response.
