We were at kids fest in Hilliard 3/2023 when saw booth for naturally farmed foods. We set up appt. For ***** to come to the house.he told us order & get 6 months worth of frozen foods, mainly meats, some fish and other items & pay a monthly fee. Every six months place a new order. he then talked about an appliance program. We already had an upright freezer & told him we were not interested. He said it could also be fancy, high end knives and pot/ pan set. We told him several times we were not interested in any of that, just interested in food program. he continued to push the appliance program saying you HAD to pick 2 of the 3 items & then you’ll get 40% off your food cost. We again told him we had plenty of knives and pot/ pans of good quality and did not need or want them. he continued to push that their foods were locally produced, better quality and the program would keep us on our food budget. He again mentioned 40% off if we did the appliance program. We again said we weren’t interested in that. He said if we didn’t get it, then they would charge us more for food but never stated how much more. We asked About the cost of the food without the appliance program and cost of the appliances that he was pushing. He never once disclosed cost of the appliances. We thought we came to agreement on just food program. He put a stack of papers in front of us to sign & initial all of which seem related to the food program. We went through entire order of food with him. He never disclosed we had three days to cancel the program, appliance price or that we signed forms for appliances. At the end told us to get cheaper price of food we HAD to give him 20 names of people he can call. Was at our home at least 2 hrs.
We have been getting billed for the appliances & they are trying to charge us a total of $5000 for knives and pots and pans. We never received these knives or pot/pan set. We are not paying for items we didn’t get or want. We have paid for the food monthly as we agreed to
