      My car was totaled by a person with this insurance. My first mistake is I should have gone through my insurance and let them deal with them. Every chance they have tried to not pay. They have finally settled the car but have not settled the medical. One of the checks they sent did not clear. They do not return phone calls. Emails are sometimes returned. I hope to never have to deal with them again.

      I have had a really hard time with this insurance. They continuously try to cancel my policy due to late payments, but I'm paid two months in advance. One time they applied someone else's payment to my policy and reversed it but then tried to cancel my policy. I've never had such difficulties with an insurance company before and I have yet to even file a claim! I've reached out to my insurance broker to see if they can assist me with these issues. Fingers crossed.

      I am very disappointed with this insurance company. I have several issues with my home. I have a leaky roof that is coming into my house. I have a water stain on my ceiling. When it rains the water runs down my back door into my kitchen which has damaged my floor and my kitchen cabinet. When it rains it leaks inside of my kitchen window and over the basement it also leaks causing rain to get into my basement. One of the roofing companies put a tarp on top to stop the rain from coming in. The adjuster told me the gutters were put on wrong. The way my house was built causes the rain to run directly in the corner by my back door and because of the structure of my house he stated they would not be able to repair it. The frame around the door is damaged from the water. During a storm part of my gutter fell off onto the ground. The trim at the top of the house is falling off but he said that was just wearing out due to being old. I filed two claims. I had two roofing contractors come out and told me it could be fixed but this company will not fix it. I am responsible for everything that is wrong. The adjuster did approve to fix the gutter that fell on the ground but since the damage was less than my deductible my claim was closed. My roof is 15 years old. Why pay for insurance when you can not get help when you need it.

      We have reviewed this claim and confirmed the damage caused by this storm was below the insureds deductible. The remaining items that needed repair were determined to be due to wear and tear and the design of the roof. Based on our inspection, this wear and tear and roof design were allowing water into the home. The policy provides coverage for direct physical loss; the roof itself did not sustain damage from the storm. If there is additional documentation you would like us to review, please send it to your adjuster.

      Encova insurance has yet to pay for my totaled F150. The accident occurred on March 20th,2024. Last I talked to **** ****** the total loss adjuster we were discussing the payoff. She didn't like that I treated it like a negotiation and I questioning and speaking my mind. She ceased communication April 17th, 2024. I have yet to see my F150 in my yard or get a payoff check for the total loss. I'm getting extremely FRUSTRATED and pissed off. Being ignored by a insurance company, kinda feel like they're deliberately avoiding the issue so I rack up storage fees and end up with nothing. Dealing with this insurance company has been a nightmare from the beginning. 2 weeks went by after the wreck before Encova was ever able to be contacted, the Terry guy wanted me to do the leg work, and Encova isn't even my insurance.

      Hello Jonathan,
      We appreciate the opportunity to review and address your concerns with respect to the handling of the damages to your truck from the accident that occurred on March 20, 2024.
      The delay in contacting you was due to not having your contact information. Unfortunately, our insured was unable to provide your information, therefore we waited on a police report to obtain your information. On March 28, eight days after the accident, we spoke and shared that a liability investigation was being completed and advised that you may want to proceed through your own insurance company.
      In review of the facts, our adjuster determined you were 20% liable due to excessive speed, and on April 5, we understood you wanted to proceed through Encova for the handling of his claim with the belief that we would pay 80% of the damages. On April 10, our offer was strongly rejected. Our adjuster had no issue with your attempts at negotiation but chose to end the conversation when disrespectful language was used.
      After a change in value due to repairs, an email was sent on April 15, outlining the updated amount. On April 17, our offer was again rejected. A response email was sent stating that our offer was firm and suggesting you proceed through your own insurance, as they would owe 100% of the value. After not receiving a response, it was believed that you proceeded through your own insurance to resolve the claim. Encova was unaware that you did not have collision coverage for this truck.
      On June 3, Encova received an email from Mrs. Michaels. Beth McGarry, manager, material damage claims, settled the claim on June 6 for the same amount as presented on April 17, with a small deduction as you decided to retain the salvage of the truck. A check was issued on June 7 and cleared the bank on June 13.
      It's unfortunate there was an eight day delay at the onset of the claim due to missing contact information. There were no storage or additional costs charged to you. We aim to make every interaction with the customer a positive experience, and we understand that did not happen this time. We are pleased the claim is now settled.

      My mother passed in December, our funeral director faxed all information to Encova to receive her life insurance claim. It wasn’t over ten thousand dollars it was just a small claim. Two weeks after claim was faxed I still heard nothing. I called them. They said they never received the fax but the funeral director has confirmation stating it was successfully sent. I in turn ended up resending a fax and an email in the middle of January with confirmation saying it was sent successfully. A week went by still nothing. I ended up mailing them the form and copies of what they require for this claim. (All the info I faxed) I again contacted them and now they are saying pending. Here it is February 5th, my mother passed December 21st 2023, and I’m still waiting on receiving this claim which we need to finish paying off her funeral bill. It was hard enough dealing with the death of my mother and now having this issue with her small life insurance claim. We are not very pleased with this company and my mother was faithful at paying her monthly premiums and they are not at all good at sending us her claim when we need it.

      This is the worse company ever I'm on work comp and they owe me money and won't give it to me and I have to fight with them every week to try and get my money, I really hope this place goes out of business so they can stop scamming people

      I was hurt on Nov.3. I have yet to hear anything from this company. They sent me a letter stating to call after 14 days done that. Call multiple times a week. **** ******** is never in the office or calls me back. Ever her supervisor does not respond. I live paycheck to paycheck. I'm 2 months behind in my bills and nobody in this company seems to care. The worst company I have ever dealt with or tried to deal with. I strongly recommend a different insurance compnay.

      Very unhappy with this insurance company!! I have hail damage to my roof . Everyone in my neighborhood is getting a new roof !! I made a claim and they sent out a 3rd party under trained kid to do the inspection. He said no hail damage. I appealed the out come and asked for a professional instructor and I was told NO !!! The supervisor told me that we would just have to agree to disagree!! Very unpleasant way to be treated!!! Not out for the costumer at all !! Very unhappy !!!!
