    The BBB shows Central Ohio Appliance Repair as "NOT BBB accredited" with a rating of A-.
    The company website at www.centralohioappliance.com has an image stating the company "IS BBB accredited" with a rating of A+.
    Because of this misleading discrepancy, I cancelled my appointment with them and will not use a company that misleads me on their website and offered no apology for it.

    BEWARE! Had dishwasher repair scheduled 9/25. Tech, Geno said problem was motherboard and had part in stock. Came back installed & had dishwasher running. Paid him $487.24 by check. However, it kept running to the point it wouldn't turn off and breaker had to be turned off to shut it down. Called immediately to report what had happened. Was told he'd be back at 9am next day. Geno returned, removed the board, said he'd try to be back later with another board. The replacement board was bad. On 9/28 another board installed. Still didn't get it running. Said he was concerned the board "fried the interface". Had to check on a new interface. Talked with Geno again, was told the interface for my dishwasher is no longer made. Dishwasher was not repairable. Said they would refund the money for the part which I felt was fair. Said he'd be back on 10/2 to get board and he'd have a check for me. Returned on 10/2 without a check. Said person who writes checks was out but if I didn't receive check by 10/6 to call the office. Called on 10/9 to notify office check was not received. Was told my message would be forwarded. I called the office on 10/11 and was told business manager/owner, Robert was moving and wasn't going to be in the office. Left another message to call me. Called again 10/16, was told Robert wasn't in but should be returning at 11:30. I asked that another message be left with him. Called again at 11:45. Was told he would be in very soon and the message would be given to him. ALL I WANT IS REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE PART THAT NEVER FIXED MY DISHWASHER ($211.95+tax). I'm not asking for a full refund, just for the part. This is NOT an unreasonable request!

    We scheduled an appointment for our refrigerator last week. The woman who took our phone call was very polite and helpful.
    Unfortunately, a technician did not show for our appointment. We received no phone call or other notification informing us of a cancellation. We called them but there was no answer; we left a message. It’s now been a week and we still have not heard back from this company.
    We are both on third shift. Fortunately we did not have to take time off of work for the four hour window, but we also did not get to sleep that day. It made for a very unpleasant work night.
    Not only was this incredibly inconvenient but it has also delayed service to our refrigerator. We are very disappointed.
