    Gave this man $100 for an inspection on my Mercedes Ml 350, said it would be $650 for two power steering hoses and the pump, and he needed the money up front to order the parts. I didn't have enough money on my cash app so I gave him cash, and made sure he wrote me a receipt. He told me the parts would be in 2 days later and he would come back to work on it the following day. For the next 4 weeks he gave excuses why he could not come and do the work, and eventually said he could not do the work and he would give a refund. That was a week ago, and now he refuses to reply to me and blocked my number. ***** sure he kept my money and never ordered the parts in the first place.

    Please dont go with him even if he gives you a good price. I paid him $750 as a deposit and then $350 for him to start working on my vehicle. He has came out twice and only stayed about 6 hours max and all the work he did was take off my Air intake, some exhaust head bolts, as well as disconnect the 2 coolant lines leading to the radiator. I dont have much experience in vehicles but I can easily do that work. Its been about a month since he was supposed to be coming out to work on my vehicle, I kept texting him when is he coming out and all he keeps saying is he will be out Tuesday and Thursday but never shows up. I asked him for a refund because none of the work is getting done and he isnt really showing up to actually try to do any of the work but when I asked him about he said that he could only give me back $400 cause he has worked on it for 6 hours even though we didnt talk about hourly pay at all. This isnt how you should run a business.

    Semper Fi Mobile Mechanic is a disabled veteran owned business. The man is very fair with pricing and gets the job done! I highly recommend.

    Horrible horrible horrible. Like others said. $125 diagnostic fee upfront. Gave him $850 upfront for parts. A month later he’s ghosted.

    Believe the negative reviews!! Or at the VERY least do what I did and pay with a credit card, so you can dispute it and get your money back when he doesn’t do the work. My nephew, who was recently stationed in North Carolina was making a surprise visit to family on thanksgiving when his car broke down in Ohio. He found Semper Fi/Thomas Mayes, and with all the wonderful reviews we trusted him. Looking at it now, I strongly believe the reviews to be fake, paid reviews. I’ve heard of this, but didn’t believe it was really a thing until now. He doesn’t have an option of customer reviews on fb and I believe this may be why. I question if he is even former military. How could you treat another soldier the way he did? I looked him up in the BBB and found more negative. He does have a couple good reviews on BBB under SEMPER FI but I’m thinking that’s probably only because he figured out how to get more fake reviews. He is NOT the good person as he claims.

    This man served out country and is a decorated war hero and he came to my house fixed my car and even let me make payments to him wheb I didnt have the full ammount. Before he left he took me to store so I could get baby formula. Like who does that. What a great man
