      IF YOU'RE READING THIS AND WONDERING WHETHER TO WORK WITH CHASE IN ANYWAY, DON'T! SUCH A ****************. I OPENED A CHECKING ACCOUNT WITH ******************** ONLINE BUT WAS NEVER TOLD A FEE OF $12 WILL BE TAKEN FROM THE ACCOUNT IF A CERTAIN BALANCE ISN'T MET. I RECENTLY DECIDED TO CLOSE THE ACCOUNT BUT THEY WON'T TRANSFER MY FUND TO A DIFFERENT ACCOUNT, INSTEAD I WAS TOLD A CHECK WILL BE MAILED TO ME IN ABOUT 5 TO 7 BUSSINESS DAYS. AFTER 2 WEEKS OF NOT RECEIVING THE CHECK, I CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE AND SPOKE TO 3 DIFFERENT PEOPLE WHO TOLD ME I MUST GO TO A BRANCH TO GET THIS RESOLVED. THE ACCOUNT WAS OPENED ONLINE, WHY DO I NOW HAVE TO GO TO A BRANCH TO RESOLVE THIS?? I EVENTUALLY WENT INTO THE CLOSEST BRANCH TO ME AND SPOKE TO A AGENT WHO TOLD ME SHE'LL GET BACK TO ME IN 24 HOURS BUT NOTHING FROM HER. I CALLED THE BRANCH 4 TIMES AND NO ONE WILL EVEN PICK UP THE PHONE TO EVEN TALK TO ME! 2 WEEKS AFTER THIS EVENT AT THE BRANCH, I HAD A ****** PERSON CALLED ME AND SAY, MY CHECK WAS SENT BUT MUST HAVE GOTTEN LOST, BUT NOW IN ORDER TO GET A NEW CHECK SENT TO ME, I NOW HAVE TO GO BACK INTO THE BRANCH AND FILL OUT A "DELCARATION OF LOST/DESTROYED CASHIERS CHECH". MEANING I HAVE TO TAKE TIME OUT OF MY DAY TO GO FILL OUT A FORM FOR A CHECK THAT CHASE PROBABLY NEVER SENT AND IF THEY SEND IT, LOST IT BUT ITS NOW MY RESPONSIBILITY TO RECTIFY THE ****** HORRIBLE OVERALL EXPERIENCE! I SHOULDN'T EVEN BE ALLOWED TO GIVE THEM A STAR!

      Found out there is an old mortgage with Chase Bank from 1997 that hasn't been properly released even though the loan was paid off in 2000. I have been trying to obtain a Release of Mortgage for over a month and just keep getting told it is being worked on but to no avail. This is causing a delay in closing on a real estate transaction and they are clearly not in any rush and do not care that this is costing someone $700 per day!

      I recently set up a business account with them and ran into multiple issues. The simplest one is that they cancelled my initial transfer to meet balance requirements but didn't contact me. That's easy enough, I set up another transfer. This time they held my ACH transfer, not a check. Whatever, annoying but I can move past it. Then, they contacted my husband, who is not on the account in anyway, to confirm something. When he told them it's my account, they refused to talk to me, told my husband he can't be on speaker with me around, and proceeded to try to verify my husband, using my info. Again, my husband is no where on this account, has nothing to do with the business, and yet, like it's the 1950s again, he had to confirm MY account activity and information on my behalf because I was told I couldn't confirm my own info.

      If I could leave -0- stars, I would. My father passed away and Chase stated that "suspicious activity" lead them to "terminate" their relationship with my mother on their joint checking account. The suspicious activity, we were told, was making remote deposits. The true trigger was trying to ***** the lawyer who was probating his will. After abruptly terminating "the relationship" with my mother, they then put a 10 day hold on the funds in her account. This was a joint account and there was nothing suspicious at all. They advised us to go to a branch manager here in *******, **. We did so and he told us that there wasn't anything in the system about the account being closed nor the reasoning behind it and there was nothing he could do. They were married for 67 years and never ever had an overdrawn account, but that wasn't enough for Chase. They had their checking account for over 30 years with Chase. Everyone has been making remote deposits since 2020. What is so "suspicious" about that?

      This is about Chase in general. Right in the middle of the busiest shopping time of the year...RIGHT NOW... I can't sign into the Chase app on my phone. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I had to spend 30 minutes talking to some guy and finally uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Never have to do this on any of the other many apps on my phone. CHASE IS PATHETIC. I may move my business.

      This chase bank has put on my credit report , MY PERFECT CLEAN CREDIT REPORT a delinquient ;payment FOR A CLOSED ACCOUNT!!! THIS FREEDOM CARD ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED OVER 7 MONTHS AGO AND THE BALANCE TRANSFERRED TO A LOWER INTEREST BANK!!! YESTERDAY I GET NOTIFICATION OF A LATE PAYMENT ON A CLOSED ACCOUNT!!! CALLED ********************** esulation located in the PHILLIPINES!! who claim they could do nothing. CLAIMING THAT SOMEONE WILL CALL ME IN A FEW DAYS!!!! I WANT THIS LYING REPORT REMOVED OFF MY CREDIT REPORT! ITS ************! IN ADDITION, EVEN WITH THE CLOSED ACCOUNT I BELIEVE SOME EMPLOYEES TRIED TO USE THE ACCOUNT BECAUSE I HAD A CALL ABOUT A ATTEMPTE4D PURCHASE ON THE CLOSED CARD!!! I DEMANDED THAT THIS BANK REMOVED MY NAME FROM THEIR FILES!!! AND APPARENTLY THEY HAVE NOT! THEY ARE ****** BECAUSE I CLOSED THE ACCOUNT AND TRANSFERRED TO A BANK WITH LOW INTEREST. CHASE BANK IS A CON ARTIST WHO PREY ON LOWER INCOME PEOPLE. I OWED THIS BANK NOTHING. AND YES. I MADE ATTEMPTS TO THE CORPORATE OFFICE IN *** THAT HOUSES THE GREEDY CEO ***** ***** WHO IS DISMISSIVE AND ONLY CATERS TO THE WEALTHY WHILE CONNING AVERAGE PEOPLE AFTER BEING A CLINENT WITH THIS BANK FOR OVER 10 YEARS NOT ONLY DID THEY LIE ABOUT ANOTHER SIDUATION , BANK MANAGEER, HEMPSTEAD, NY BRANCH, WHICH PROMPT ME TO REMOVE MYSELF FROM THIS BANK, I WANT THIS REMOVED AND AN APOLOGY LETTER AND VERIFICATION LETTER ALSO. IMMEDIATELY!!!! MY CREDIT IE PERFECT!!! AND THIS DARK DISGUSTING CON ARTIST BANK PUT A FALSE LATE PAYMENT ON MY REPORT !!!! I WANT IT REMOVED IMMEDIATELY. THIS WILL NOT DIE. SOCIAL MEDIA IS HUGE AND I WILL USE IT IF THIS IS NOT IMMEDIATELY RESOLVED!!!!

      I have been waiting over a year on a claim about my refund for my Checking Acct...Found out it was closed and they can't find any records...Transfer to 6 different times, and only 1 saw exactly what I've been claiming all a long...Got transfer again, and back to the same routine...Chase Banking is terrible at customer service

      Preying on a minor (under 18). I have a teen account set up under my account and the debit card for the account was obtained by fraud. The company did not protect the underage account with any safety warning and allowed fees for international payments. This should have been a flag on their side that an underage account holder wasnt making payments international in Mexican pesos. They only stopped the card and only covering the 60 days to refund charges incurred. Also, allowed for an ****** prime membership to be opened when clearly a minor cant open an Amazon prime account.

      In August 2024 my partner *** ****** purchased a round trip ticket to ***** for September 8th for *** ****** with the credit card reward program we have with Chase. Due to a problem with the airline the ticket we thought had paid for wasn't valid. I didn't find this out until I was at the airport.*** ****** who is in ***** was able to a new ticket for the next day with the Chase Travel Reward Program for $1,893.80 almost double what we got for the first flight. We didn't receive an e-mail with the itinerary I assumed the departure ********** was the same. We drove 1 hour to the airport & missed the flight because the time was different , We tried to cancel the connecting flight right away but the agent couldn't do it. We told the agent that we never received the itinerary. Her response was that we should have asked. We had to pay $1,199.39 for another ticket . It was very stressful because I needed to get the ticket asap.We would like to be compensated for this amount.
