On 11-20-24 EZ Does It Moving loaded ********************** from my condo to take to a *********** Senior 500 ft apt. in *******. This was recommended by employee of *********** as this company frequently moves residents. During the moving process *******, who I believed owned the company, advised me that there would not be room for my console I wanted moved. So I told him to leave it and I would take care of it later. Shortly thereafter he proceeded to wrap it in a cover and carry it to the moving trailer. I remarked to the young woman from my church who was with me that he must have decided to try and see if it fits into the apt. This young woman and I were eating dinner after the move and discovered that among all the boxes and furniture haphazardly packed into the 500 sq. ft. the console was not in the apt. I made calls to EZ Does It but my calls were not answered and no message could be left as you get a recording. My nephew also called on my behalf but was told the console was sitting in my garage which was not true. Today, 01/05/25, I called again. ******* of EZ Does It Moving returned my call even though no one had answered again today. Because of some health issues I moved back to the my condo from *********** and was given a different phone number that wasn't identifying the caller yet. After some prompting ******* remembered the situation with the console and he told me he dropped my console off at a Goodwill on *************** near *************** and had a receipt but items were not listed. He did probably drop off an old recliner that he mistakenly brought. He became confrontational. He said he would try to find a replacement & pray for me. I think he knows there is nothing an elderly lady is going to be able to do and will possibly keep doing similar activity. I HAVE TROUBLE BELIEVING A MOVING COMPANY WOULD LOAD AN ALL WOOD THOMASVILLE CONSOLE FOR THE PURPOSE OF DONATION.

We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with a service we provided for you and the misunderstanding of the communication that was misleading during the moving process on your behalf.

It was expressed to our crew by ***** directly that they're were items to be hauled away as well as items to be moved, in which these are service provided. This particular item of furniture in discussion was loaded on the trailer last along with a recliner that was to be hauled away. By request of *****.

Described in the complaint it mentioned a consol was removed  that was said to not be moved because it would not fit in her new unit, but ***** stood there and watched as we loaded it up last with the recliner and did not say anything about it must stay or to bring it and not take it. ***** then also confirmed nothing else needed to be taken and she was ready to move to her new location. ***** stood in front of movers as they removed the item. It was never once mentioned to return the item or not to haul it. What was discussed was if any items we would sell it or keep, asked by *****, that is when it was brought to ******* attention that it would likely be donated.

We spoke briefly the day of this complaint and expressed that we would try and resolve this issue in any way we can. This complaint comes to great surprise because we thought we had a ginuine understanding and agreement that we could work it out.

We sicerly apologize that you believe this was done intentionally or with cruel intent. We value the trust and respect of our clients and would never jeapordize the integrity we pride ourselves on over a material item or personal gain.

We wish you the best and hope you can understand where the communication mistake was made on your behalf.
