      Bait and switch. $39.95 oil change mailed coupon special totaled $67.95 with an added $28.00 shop fee.

      On December 19, 2023, my wife and I decided to buy a car to start building our credit history, so we went in search of a new vehicle. We were assisted by Mr. ******* ********, and after being at the dealership for over 6 hours, he offered us a 2023 ****** Rogue with ***** miles. We liked the car and decided to accept it.About 7 months later, a message appeared on my cars dashboard indicating "ENGINE FAULT." The next day, I took it to ****** North for an inspection, and they informed me that the engine had been repaired, and the hoses had coolant leaks, which could have potentially led to engine failure and, in the worst case, an accident.I contacted the dealership because I was never informed that the truck I was sold had undergone engine repairs. If I had known this, I would not have taken the car on the first day. Indeed, Mr. ******** did not deny this ***************** North contacted Toyota West, and they said they would not take responsibility because, although the car was purchased there, it was not a Toyota brand vehicle and had to be sent to ****** Georgesville Parts.Additionally, I discovered that I had been sold a warranty priced around $3,500. At no point was this price mentioned to me, nor was I asked if I wanted the warranty. I feel cheated because I was never informed about this warranty, and it was added without my authorization. I went to the dealership to remove these warranties, and it has been over 6 weeks without receiving any refund for the amount due.I also want to mention that we requested a car exchange because the truck has a repaired engine and continues to have issues. I have taken it to the authorized ****** repair shop more than four times. The person who sold me the *** has been replaced, and now I am dealing with another salesperson named ******.

      I am constantly waiting for an offer, and they only tell me that the car has not arrived or that the available ones have already been sold. I have been dealing with this issue for over 6 weeks. I am displeased with the lack of communication, as we have lost workdays due to the ongoing issues with the truck.We want to express ourselves through this letter to seek a resolution as quickly as possible because they knew that the truck had problems which they did not disclose, and now I am left with a vehicle that continues to have issues. I owe a total of $31,000 and have to assume debt for another new car simply because I was deceived into buying a car with a repaired engine. I deserve recognition of this error and a better deal.
