On June 12th 2024 I contacted Massey pizza at **** ********* ***** *** ******** **** ***** to use a coupon code of VPBOGOT. The coupon read buy any regular pizza at menu price and get one free. The coupon was receive in the Value pack Mailer and explained to the order taker for the Six pizzas ordered. The worker charged the debit card for $ 99.95 for five pizzas and provided one free. Upon picking up the pizza the manager and co worker would not honor the coupon and talked negative and took the coupon and would not provide an explanation.

On June 13th I contact the corporate store in ************ and explained the situation and asked for an interpretation of the coupon and the printed coupon code. I was told that the advertising department will review the terms and conditions and get back to me. On June 13th late in the afternoon the Massey pizza employee that I initiated the first phone call called be back and informed me that the coupon with the coupon code was intended for one free pizza with the purchase of a pizza at full menu price. I was informed that my thinking and intent was correct and they would contact the store General manager in a day or two and provide the explanation and how to use the promo code in the register.

When i called the location on June 25th and asked for the General manage to co worker asked what it was in reference to. about two hours later another employee from the store called and stated the GM is always busy and if he could help in any way. The third call was from the general Manager and recognized my voice , my order from three weeks ago and the coupon used. Initiating a remedy with the GM he only stated the coupon can only be used one time,

I already used the coupon and he has not received a call or communication from the corporate facility. He stated he is not interested in talking about this situation anymore and have a nice day. The pizza was a donation to a assisted living facility in *********** ****. It was my contribution.

Sorry for any confusion but this location is a franchise. The franchisee put out the coupon. It was honored on one pizza at regular price then get one free. It is not to be used on multiple pizzas. If there are any further questions the franchise location can be contacted at ###-###-####.

[If you do not say why you are rejecting the company's response, BBB must close your complaint.]

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

The coupon reads for every pizza purchased at full price receive additional pizza free. There are no turns or conditions explaining being a franchise , limits on quantity or any other explanations. I called corporate and way explained that my intentions were correct and corporate will call locations and explain how to use the coupon code. When I called the following week I was told that the GM has no idea what I was talking about. Again I was denied any kind of remedy and was spoken to in a harsh tone. The whole experience and transaction and remedy is unacceptable.

    Regards,
