Central city solutions reached out to me out of the blue. My house hadnt even been listed. They showed interest in purchasing the property and I spoke with ***** ******. He then got me in contact with his business partner ******, who came to my house and met with Myself and my son-in-law And offered to purchase my home as is for $200,000. I did sign a contract but nowhere in the contract did it state they have a no cancellation policy or that I would be fined for breach of contract.

I reached out to ****** and ***** within less than 24 hours With buyers remorse. No money had exchanged hands and I told him I needed to cancel as the offer was not going to help out my financial situation never once did they say I could not cancel I spoke with *****. I spoke with ****** and I spoke with their transaction coordinator *****. I have since listed my home with a realtor and now their lawyer ******* ****** has reached out to say I am in breach of contract and that I have no right to cancel the contract. He is saying due to damages that his clients have received that it will cost me $25,000 to cancel and be released. Never was this disclosed to me or my son-in-law and they did not have any contact with me regarding that, I was still bound to a contract until they saw my house for sale and listed.

I feel they are taking advantage of my situation. I am recently widowed, and I think they were taking full advantage of my vulnerability. If the contract had stated there would be a fee. I would have no problem honoring the contract they sent me a copy of the contract and nowhere does it state that there is a no cancellation policy or that there would be a fee. I just want to be released from this contract so that I may list my house with a reputable company. I have filed a complaint with the ********************* and need your assistance to be released from this contract that they say, I am still bound to.

      Business Response

      Date: 02/10/2025

********, we appreciate the opportunity to respond.

Our sales representative met with you, agreed on a purchase price and timeline, and signed a contract. A few days later, you requested to cancel, opting instead to let the home go through bankruptcy. We offered assistance to explore other options, but you declined.

Weeks later, we discovered the home was listed with an agent, contrary to our agreement. Despite these setbacks, we increased our offer by $5,000 and successfully closed the sale.

We regret any frustration but believe we acted in good faith and upheld our commitments. If you'd like to discuss further, please feel free to reach out to us by phone or email.

      Sincerely,
      Central City Solutions
