      We’ve been renting from F&W since 2019 and have had nothing but great experiences with them. Don and the rest of the maintenance staff are absolutely stellar and are a big part of why we continue to stay with F&W. When we enter a maintenance request through the app, oftentimes the maintenance people show up the same day to perform the work. It’s amazing! They replaced our entire HVAC system on July 1; work started at 8:15am and they were completely done by 1:45 the same afternoon. Don’s professional efforts are noteworthy and appreciated; congratulations on a job well done.

      The people are some of the worst people to have to deal with. They act all kind and welcoming to get you to view the property and tour, and you see they’re in a nice building so you get the impression that you’ll get something of value but as soon as you sign the contract you’re nothing but a slave to their manipulation. Dealing with them has been second to none in how terrible a place could be once you sign your self on a contract. They literally lied to my face and as soon as the money was paid, flipped and begin extorting me for money, telling you how you have to live like a terrible HOA or something, adding nonsense charges you can’t dispute, locking my account so I couldn’t make partial payments, telling me I have to be out of my apartment at designated times or it was a $100 up charge a month, then ignoring calls and messages for problem solving just so as to be able to upcharge me more.
      I raised issues with them before moving that they didn’t fix before move in, I had issues with them immediately that never went resolved (or worse, hidden to give the appearance of resolution), they have unkind people working in their office who have nice appearances so as to trick you into an inaccurate beliefs that they can be trusted and aren’t just extorting you for money. Their office has a high turnover rate probably because of how guilty their employees feel about their actions.
      They will give you a contract and change the contract to suit their needs to get more money out of you.
      DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

      I want to address the specifics of your comment. You are entitled to your opinion about the kind of people we are. I'm afraid I have to disagree with your statement about the character of our staff. Additionally, many of our office staff have been with us for 5-25 years. As part of the lease, it is required to keep your apartment clean, safe, and sanitary. We do not have a HOA of any kind. When you are late on rent, especially past the 10th of the month, Accounting can request certified funds and payments in full. Additionally, when you are in non-compliance with your lease and accrue charges for not preparing for pest control you are charged accordingly. We take pest control very seriously and will not tolerate units that perpetuate pest issues. We also perform quarterly bed bug K9 inspections where we ask tenants to step into the kitchen or hall (if home) to perform a 3-minute or less inspection. This is free of charge and can give peace of mind knowing bed bugs aren't present. The lease is sent before the move-in appointment. At the move-in appointment, we go over the lease in detail. In that meeting, it was noted that you were sarcastic and rude stating that we were repeating the lease that you had already read. It is stored in your password-protected portal in pdf format. We cannot change it. There are several text messages where there was open communication. However, when you began with vulgar language and name-calling, cursing, and inappropriate images, we ceased to go back and forth in that capacity. In the end. You did complete the early move-out process successfully. Which we appreciate.
