      I walked in on Sunday to get a tattoo that says “good news” in cursive on my forearm. I showed the artist a reference photo and he came back in less than 2 minutes with a stencil, flashed it to me and said let’s do it. The entire experience felt super rushed, I didn’t feel like I really had the time to really look at the stencil and once it was done it was directly wrapped up. I paid $124 for this tattoo.
      When I came home and took the wrap off, there is literally an extra e in “news” so it looks like “newes”. It is nowhere close to the font I wanted and you can’t even ready what the tattoo says. It is also not center in my arm so when I turn it’s crooked. I called them and they told me to stop back in, I came back in and the artist took a photo and said to stop in next week and they would see what they could do. I would’ve really liked an explanation on what, if anything, could be done to fix it. A couple of days later I called in and asked to speak to a supervisor, explained the situation, he had me send an email over with a photo of the tattoo explaining the situation.
      Fast forward to today, they set me up to meet with the owner, ****, to go over everything. He was so condescending and rude to me and talked over me the entire time. He told me they could fill in the extra e with black ink and then do a free touch up… so then it will just look like a black dot in between the letters? I asked for a refund and he said absolutely not. He told me I had buyers remorse so there was nothing they could do to help me, but he was trying to offer me great customer service. By talking over me, being combative, and being condescending to me? He kept calling me darling and sweetheart in a downgrading way. I literally had to tell him he was being combative and talking over me, I tried to explain to him that I felt rushed and he very arrogantly said that’s how it worked in the tattoo world and he should know because he’d been doing it for 20 years. I felt extremely disrespected.
