Here's the best context I can provide on our email exchanges.  See below.

I first asked him what these wheels were going on before I also found out the wheels he ordered could not go on a trailer.  He was more ****** about the fact I would not take a loss on shipping of three hundred dollars and he was entitled to the purchase.  I'm not in the business of losing money.  Becoming beligerent as a customer and using a threat of reporting me to the BBB is not going to get me to ship items, it actually encourages me to not do any business with this person.

And all these emails and all I got from you and on your ad does not say nothing about not for trailer even when you called my phone you did not mention nothing about trailer until I said I was turning it over to the better Business bureau so guess what it's done been turned over to the better Business bureau and I am not dropping it until you stick up to your end of what your ad says online where I purchase the rims and says free shipping free shipping's on you that your cost not mine your ad said free shipping I paid for the rims so it said free shipping so that's on you

    Hi ****,

I called to say I was sorry that I can't sell you these wheels because of the shipping cost, and I will lose money if I did.

You are free to complain to the BBB.  They will provide me with the complaint, and I will send them my communications with you and do whatever it is they need to do to resolve it on their end.

The shipping is not the only issue.  I can't sell you these because you stated they were for trailer use.

I've cancelled your order.  Here's a screenshot of the VOID on your card's pre-auth.
I have disabled ordering of that wheel going forward, so I no longer have issues with "free shipping" on these heavy weight items.  As it turns out, it's probably for the best.  Thank you for you patience while I tried to work out the shipping with my distributor.

    Hi ****,

Yep.  There is no shipping cost to you, and I will NOT be adding any cost to your order.  I am unable to charge you any more on your card than what was submitted with the pre-auth on the card, so there's no possibility of adding shipping to your order.

These are likely being drop shipped from the west coast, and I was also getting a quote for these same wheels (he wants 7) for another customer to be sent to **.  The rate they quoted me was over $325.  This is half the cost of the wheels basically.  It's ridiculous.

I will be able to get your order out if I'm able to get the shipping rate to a reasonable amount whereas I'm not losing money on the order.

Please be patient as I get this sorted out with Raceline / Allied wheels b/c I think they have the weight screwed up on their end and it is quoting an astronomical rate, and they may have to manually go figure it out.  They just emailed me about double-checking the rate.

    Thanks,

    Hi ****,

I'm waiting for Raceline (Allied) to send me a quote on the shipping for these wheels before I can run the order.

I think their weight set on these wheels in their database is a bit off.  I had a quote for 7 of these same wheels going to ** would be $345.  It should be closer to $25 per wheel, but their ***** rate isn't usally as good as other wheel companies.

If this is the case for yours as well, I may have to cancel your order b/c I'll be losing money if I run it.
Let me see what they say and I'll get back to you hopefully before this evening.

    Thanks,

Customer in subsequent separate emails had also stated he would continue to complain to the BBB until I sent the wheels with free shipping even though I had cancelled his pre-auth on his credit card and told him I was cancelling his order because the wheels were not to be used on a trailer like he had stated.

    1. Customer made an order through the website

    2. I contacted him to find out what the wheels would be used on as he did not specify, then told me they would go on a trailer

    3. I said I would follow up on getting a shipping quote on my end from my distributor which he mistook as a representation that I would be charging him for the shipping which I then clarified that I could not charge him more for anything and he was not going to pay shipping.

    4. He continued to barrage me with emails about NOT cancelling the order even though I had stated the distributor's shipping quote was likely incorrect and they had to check again

    5. He continued to tell me I better NOT cancel the order because the shipping was supposed to be FREE and that he'd contact the BBB to file a complaint if I didn't ship them

    6. Through the process of checking on shipping and comparing the product description the distributor had on their site, it stated the wheels were not to be used on trailers

    7. I included the link to the customer with the order cancellation notice for not only the shipping issue on my end but also the fitment issue on his end, yet he was still beligerent towards my efforts to work on fulfilling his order
