    Just moved into a condo complex that uses APL for their electricity provider. In my 50+ years I have never dealt with a more incompetent or shady company in my life. Multiple attempts to pay a bill that they claimed their new system could not recognize and at one point have $1500 sitting in their account for a $300 bill. Absolute buffoon and incapable of running a business. If your complex or community uses this provider, I would avoid moving in or buying there at all costs.*

    I received an email on 6/29/2023 stating that they received my move out request on 6/30/2023. Um… how did you receive a request from the future? Also, I did not submit a request and was not even on the website. My account it paid up to date. I tried calling twice. Both times I sat on hold for 10 minutes and then was sent to voicemail. I’ve send an email to customer service but of course no response. What am I supposed to do??

    I lived in San Francisco for over a decade and the most I paid for electricity was during the horrible summer we had in 2020. That was $300 for a 3 bedroom, 1300 sq.ft apartment with a/c running non stop. Then I move to Columbus, Ohio in December 2022 and into a modest 600 something sq.ft apartment and voila my electricity bill is close to $200 per month. My thermostat is set at 63F and hardly ever turn on heat. So I’m guessing summer is gonna be pretty awesome for my pockets!!! And if this isn’t daylight robbery, I don’t know what is!!

    Called my apartment complex manager and even they stated this company is abysmal. I have never had an electric bill over $200.00. Tried to pay their bill on web portal, could not log in, called their support line and the number has been disconnected. If you are apartment hunting and they state they use this service, skip and find something else; save yourself time and money.

    My account was in autopay then I started receiving bills that were past due. How? Took an afternoon off from work to call them and got a recorded message each time. I still haven't been able to get through to anyone. What a disgusting company!

    This company is absolute garbage. They are scam artists. Do Not Move in any complex who deals with this company. Plainly is the worst electric company anyone could ever have.

    Poor customer service…. I have been calling.. they will keep you in line and will forward you to a voicemail and I have called and left countless of messages and even sent a help text.. it’s been a week now, no call back or nothing… their rate are high I live by myself and use only my tv, and electric stove, in an apartment and my electric bill was over $200 a month… I tried to get some clarification and no one cares… it’s crazy… I don’t use washer and dryer or dishwasher or anything even house owners don’t pay that much with all the appliances… it crazy I have to go through this… safe yourself and money….their services sucks….thanks ***** *.

    Absolutely awful! I sent them a letter asking for an explanation as to why my bill was so much higher than the previous services I've used such as ********* Energy. When considering I use energy efficient appliances as well as LED bulbs there is no reason for a 300+ bill per month. No explanation yet, however I guarantee I'm not using the kWh listed in the bill. It's extortion.

    This company is absolute garbage. They would be better off rebranding themselves scam artists. Our bill has gone up ASTRONOMICALLY since the city wide power outage several months ago. Has slowly went up from around 80 to 90 dollars a month now to over 140 dollars a month. THAT'S RIDICULOUS. NOW I'M TRYING TO LOG IN PAY THE BILL, our bill is due on the tenth. We have now been trying to pay the bill since the 29th of last month (we always pay our bill as soon as the first hits when my wife and I get paid) have now been trying to pay for a week and every time we do it sends a charge notification to my wife's bank account as a charge back to her account. This is unacceptable. Then we call their customer service line. The close at 43O, IT WAS ONLY 230 WHEN WE CALLED AND NO ANSWER. SIX TIMES. WE WAITED ON HOLD. this company is a joke and needs to be shut down

    Worst company ever. Unfortunately though my apartment I have to have this company. December 23 our power went out and when I called them they told me that no one will work on the electric because it's to cold. We went 2 days without electricity. 2nd u can't log into your account to pay your bill. U get a late notice and threatened to be shut off but how can I pay when u can't log into your account? Makes no sense
