I had a new sump pump discharge line placed last month. I was told numerous times that the old corrugated line would be removed as they placed the new line due knowing that water was not completely making it out to the end of the old line. The owner agreed to performing that multiple times. They finished installing the new line without removing the rest of the old one and packed their equipment and left while i was at work. I agreed to pay the balance in cash the next day with the owner “giving me his word” he would be back out to finish removing the old pipe like he agreed to the previous three days working at my house. I paid the invoice in full and he hasn’t been back out. I called two weeks ago and all i get are round about excuses. No effort has been made by him to come back out. This company is not trustworthy of finishing work they agreed to do.

5.8.2024 BBB spoke with Danielle C*****. She stated that we removed old pipeline only in areas we encountered it and it needed to be removed to make room for new pipeline. Restoration is done 30 days after work is completed. Restoration would be scheduled for May 31, 2024 weather permitting. Business does not usually do restoration as part of the job, but the owner promised the consumer. Consumer has paid in full. Business is not obligated to remove all old pipeline. That would be a separate project the consumer would be charged for.

The project started on April 15, in which I present through April 16, and from the moment they started digging I explained that i wanted the old pipe removed due to the dye not making it out to the end of the discharge. The company stated numerous times that it was not an issue and would be done when the project was completed. They never said it was a separate job. The owner stated they would remove the rest of the old pipe after they finished installing the new discharge line. They finished the new line on April 17 when i was not home. They never told me they would be finished on the day they knew i wasnt going to be home. During a phone call, the owner stated, “i give you my word” that they would be back on friday, April 19, to finish removing the old line weather permitting. And if it was too wet then he “gave me his word” he would return on monday, April 22, to finish what he said he would do, remove the rest of the old line. I then called him that monday to which he said his machine broke a line and he would be out as soon as it got fixed. I never heard from him or the company after that.
