On February 20, 2025 around 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. I was driving south on *************** Columbus, **** ***** I was in the farthest lane (turning lane) it was night out, it was raining. Someone from the company didn't put the road work sign out of the left lane closest to the North bound side of the street, out of the lane. I hit the sign I couldn't stop nor get over to the right due to traffic. I called Team Fishel claims office and spoke to ****** ******** sent her the letter from the City Of Columbus showing that Team Fishel was the company doing the work at that time. Now when I call she ignores my messages and emails.

      Business Response

      Date: 04/11/2025

For clarification, Ms. ****** is not a customer, but a third party who claims she damaged her car when she hit a road sign on ***** **.  Fishel has been in contact with Ms. ****** throughout the process. The claim was originally received by our claims department in early March. On March 10 and March ************************************* ****** requesting she submit any photos, estimates, or other documentation she had supporting her claim. Ms. ****** did not submit anything until March 18 (pictures of the damage only, nothing supporting how it occurred). These documents were acknowledged on March 19 and on March 28 her claim was denied, as Fishel was not working in the area where the damage occurred. Fishel's work was in a different section of ***************. On 4/1, Ms. ****** sent a letter from the City of Columbus by email. Fishel responded to her within 15 minutes that it would look into the matter further. On 4/3 she reached out to Fishel again and the claims department responded to her that afternoon. Based on Fishel's research, the sign she claims she hit was outside Fishel's workzone and was not of the type Fishel used on ***** Road; therefore her claim has been denied.  Fishel values its relationships with the general public and has responded to Ms. ****** timely; however, this incident was not caused by Fishel.

[If you do not say why you are rejecting the company's response, BBB must close your complaint.]

      Complaint: 23185559

I am rejecting this response because: I have been filling this out once a week for over a month. Since your affiliate company Team Fishel claims representative will not return my phone calls or emails. On 02/20/2025 a employee was negligentfor leaving one of the road work sign in the road on ******** and **************** I was in the turn lane closest to the ******* ** side. Well I hit the sign or have a pile up of cars to miss the sign. Now ***** ******** and her supervisor said the company was not doing road work at that time and date. On April 1, 2025 I emailed her the letter that I received from the City Of Columbus identifying that Team Fishel was the company doing the work. On the 1st of April ********************************* back, well today is the 14th of April 2025. Iam not tring to sue the company for punitive damages., I would win, all I want is my vehicle repaired.
      Regards,
