    On 10/13/23 they paved my driveway (previously brick) contract called for 3 inches of asphalt. It was applied so thin you could still see some of the bricks through the finished asphalt. The thinnest portion also was an almost 2 inch deep hole (see pictures). I held back $2000 of payment and told them I would pay the rest when fixed as long as it didn't look like a pot hole patch. On 10/16 they filled the hole ,I paid them and they said it would look better after they sealed it the following day or two. I called at the end of the week, they said they would seal it the following week. Texted on 10/24 and they advised tomorrow or Thursday for sure. I texted on 11/1, 6, 7, and 14th along with several voice mails and never got a reply nor has the job been completed. It would be foolish to deal with this company.

    Below you will see my communication to Affordable Asphalt:
    To tell you the truth, after seeing the quality of the was done today I wish I didn’t get it done at all! There are spots in the driveway where the asphalt is only 1 inch thick, the apron was not done and the transition to the walkway is a trip hazard for senior citizens parents! If you haven’t seen the job site personally, you should. Terrible workmanship!!
    I will never live down the driveway that your company has installed at my parents.
    I will need a copy of your one-year guarantee.

    If my parents are injured due to your negligence, you may want to contact an attorney!
    Consider this a legal letter of intent.
    Let me know when you are coming to repair the driveway.
