I went into Terabyte on February 20, 2025 with an issue on my computer where the screen was turning black and not turning on. Trever, the owner, ran tests and came to the conclusion that my graphics card was no longer viable and that I needed to replace it. I told him that I didn’t have my computer long and I that would be unusual for the card to stop working so soon. He sold me a new graphics card, lesser quality, and replaced it while I was in the shop. I paid $364.84 for this service/replacement. He then carried the computer to my vehicle and I went home. He texted me on the company phone later that night asking how it was working. I told him that I was only able to try it out for about 5 minutes and some other aspects that were not working that were related to cables but that it worked great during those 5 minutes but I would give him and update after I used it more the following day. The next day I realized that my old graphics card was not given back to me so I messaged the number and asked for it back and even tried to call it multiple times. There was no answer/replies. His website was taken down and his store said it was “temporarily closed.” I messaged again asking for the card back on March 10, 2025 and there was no answer. I joined the company discord server to see if I could get more information on what happened and he blocked me from the server even though I did not write anything in there. I drove by the store and it was completely empty. On April 8, 2025 I tried to call the number again because I noticed the website is online again and they are open. I had to get a friend to join the discord server and he posted an update saying that he is now working out of his home and taking services. When I took my computer to another company to address issues with the graphics card he sold me, I was enlightened that my original card was under warranty. The card Trevor stole from me was $624.99.
