    I booked a consultation for a basic facial at @pekomd_dayton @peko_md @peko.skin with Kaitlyn Kendrick in early March. Kate upsold me to a #microneedling service, as she felt it would be a fit for my skin goals. IMMEDIATELY after my service on April 21st, I had concerns that something had gone wrong, as my skin was producing pus and blood in excess- which was not anything I had stumbled upon in my research. I reached out to Kate the following morning with my concerns, and she stated that I should continue to apply moisturizer to my now OPEN WOUNDS. As the days passed, my skin continued to open up more and I had serious concerns that were completely disregarded. The medspa refuses to mitigate the now permanent scarring I have due to their botched procedure. They attempted to cover up their negligence by prescribing me antibiotics that I did not need claiming it was “precautionary”, when in fact they would later attempt to classify this as bacterial. I NEVER TOOK THE MEDS, because I KNEW this was a skin Trauma. Not an infection. I was just informed that not only is Kate unqualified to perform this procedure as she is only an esthetician (should be performed by a NP or under DIRECT supervision by an MD), but she experimented on me unsupervised for her very first microneedling procedure.
