  During 2020 and 2021, we invited five contractors into our home to look over our existing master bathroom, learn about our needs and desires and provide a written estimate for the remodeling project. To this day -- 8/9/2024 - we have not received a written estimate from any of them. To protect the "guilty", I won't post their company names.
  But I digress. Totally exasperated, I started researching general contractors in the Dayton area and found W.E. Bilbrey General Contractor's gallery of projects including master bathrooms and aging in place. Michelle Bilbrey of W.E. Bilbrey met with us, understood our needs and worked with us over a period of weeks in 2023 to capture not only what we needed now, but also how to easily adapt the new shower if grab bars would be needed in ten or fifteen years. The results look like something out of a magazine! Going one step further, W.E. Bilbrey completed the work on time, in scope and on budget--a text book example of how to plan and execute a major remodeling project!

  We selected Bilbrey to do our kitchen remodel in 2022. Bilbrey worked with us after the initial estimate to modify design areas and update the estimate. Overall, the cost estimate was very detailed and we knew what costs to expect as the project progressed. The work crew was very professional and courteous throughout the remodel project. The work crew cleaned up after each workday and coordinated with us as to the next steps in the project. Bilbrey did a good job of scheduling the various subcontractors (electrical & plumbing) to minimize schedule impacts. Overall, Bilbrey did an excellent job in the design, staying on budget, and workmanship for our kitchen remodel project. They do quality work and we would recommend them for your remodeling project.

  We hired W.E. Bilbrey for addition of a sunroom, new carpeting, and flooring. The result is stunning - it's now our favorite room.
  As an engineer, I appreciated the detailed planning, drawings and cost build up. I also appreciated the attention to detail in during construction. Bill caught and corrected many things I had not noticed.
  Bill made frequent visits to oversee construction and see if we had questions. He incorporated our requested changes and provided cost updates. The work crews were highly skilled, some have worked for Bilbrey for many years.
  Bill kept us posted on schedule and any delays. He was always pleasant and accommodating. There is a reason why W. E. Bilbrey has been in business over 40 years. We are extremely happy with the result and cost, and highly recommend W. W. Bilbrey.

  We have had WE Bilbrey (Bill) remodel 2 bathrooms and a kitchen in the last ten years. We have found that all who are associated with WE Bilbrey to be courteous, knowledgeable and professional. We were never asked to put any money down, which seems to be unique in the industry. Bill’s philosophy is that, “I haven’t done anything yet, so why would I need any down payment.” We were billed periodically as the job progressed. Along with each detailed and written estimate, Bill provided a “welcome” packet that included a copy of the company’s insurance and bonding policies. Once WE Bilbrey started the job, the team stayed with it until it was finished. And the job isn’t completed until you, the customer, is completely satisfied. We would highly recommend WE Bilbrey for any of your home improvement needs. You will be assured of quality job with quality workmanship.
