I have been a customer of Swartz Mulch for at least 12 years and I have never had an issue. I typically buy 3 yards of mulch and recently I have had it delivered. On April 19 I ordered and paid for 3 yards but when it was delivered I only received 2 yards. I even told the driver that the amount seemed low.

Normally the 3 yards will cover all of my flower beds. This time it was drastically short. In addition I record the number of wheel barrows of mulch I distribute and where it goes. This data shows I only about received 2/3 of what I normally get. Here is the data:

    2023 2024
    Front - 19 19
    Side - 10 10
    Back/deck area - 15 14
    Corner of back - 3 3
    Top of Hill - 13 1
    Extra - 8 0
    Total - 68 47

I used the same wheel barrow. This shows I was applying the mulch the same as the previous year but I came up short and only got 69% of the mulch.

I called into the office on the same day and they said Brandon was positive he loaded 3 yards into the truck. They said all they could do was sell me another yard but would not charge me for deliver. I asked to speak to a manager or to have one call me but this did not happen.
