      WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!
      HIRES CONVICTED FELONS!
McSwain does not do background checks on their subcontractors. They hire convicted felon to install my carpet. Their subcontractor stole almost $8,000 worth of my jewelry. I contacted the business to report this issue. I provided all of my receipts for every piece that was stolen. They said there has to be a police report filed to go through the subcontractors insurance to file the claim. I filed the police report then reported back to McSwain. They said per their policy they cannot provide any of the contractors business/insurance information until the subcontractor was convicted/deemed guilty by the court before they can provide his information to make a claim. Now, the unfortunate part is that the subcontractor is now deceased. Montgomery County prosecutor's office advised they do not convict deceased persons.
I spoke with Edmond Call, who advised he was the vice president of compliance. He stated multiple times he will cooperate fully with the investigation. However, most things he could not disclose to me due to their policy. I've attempted to contact the owner of the company. I've gotten zero response from him. Edmund gave me the phone number to the owner which is in fact NOT the correct phone number. I then called multiple people within the organization. I was able to collect an email address for the owner. I have sent him multiple emails but still have not received a message back. McSwain stopped all communication. At this point I am at a loss and the company is doing nothing to help a customer who spent $5,000 for them to install carpet.
