Apple Management is an HOA provider; they have increased the amount of my HOA fee without telling me. Then they added multiple late fees and now has turned this over to a Collections agency. I have repeatedly asked for proof of my acknowledgement of this increase. I only receive a generic document with no reference of my acknowledgement that appears to be very outdated. I have tried on multiple occasions to get resolution to this matter with no results

My request is to have ALL late fees and rate increase differences be removed and this be removed from the collections agency. They also need to implement a signature acknowledgement when it comes to rate increases. If they do not receive it, then follow-up with a call to ensure acknowledgement has occurred.

    Hello-

The Board of Timber Park approves all increases.  Each year, a letter along with the budget and coupons are sent to owners.  We've not received any returned mail for this address.  We also send monthly reminders if an owner is past due.  She has owned this unit since 2016.

The Board also has a collection policy that is given to the attorney on a monthly basis.  You can see in my latest email back to the owner, I said we would be willing to work out something.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

    Kindly,

Apple Mgmnt has not produced my signature or acknowledgement of the fees.  So, do I need to take legal action? The documents provided does not have any form of acknowledgement.

    Please advise.

    Hi-

The declaration and by-laws are the recorded documents.  Each owner is a member of the association.  Fees are based on the size of the unit to pay common area expenses.  In addition, I have attached the certificate of assessment that was provided to the title company for her closing.

The Board signed a MGMT contract with my firm.

    Thanks,
