  We had Josh Tackett come out to give us an estimate on our tree work. The price was reasonable, and Josh is very knowledgeable. They came out the day they said they would with two crews. They trimmed several trees back away from the house, removed a large dead tree in the back, cleaned out a smaller tree that was scraping the shed and deck, and cut the trees away from power lines. They removed all debris, even left overs that they did not cut! Fantastic job, and they have earned our business for future jobs. Highly recommend!

  Our two front pear trees were overgrown and brittle, so we contacted Tackett’s Tree Service for an estimate to remove them to include grinding the stumps out. Josh Tackett professionally provided a free same-day on-site estimate which was extremely reasonable (a significant cost savings over another highly reputable tree service contractor). We coordinated a timeframe for Tackett’s to complete this job, they accomplished this job well ahead of schedule to include the cleanup. Our neighbors even commented on how quick and professional they were. Would definitely recommend them as a tree service contractor.

  Shout out to this company for excellent work performed at my house in July, 2023. The 2 workers were professional and had the difficult task of climbing the tree in order to do the necessary trimming away from my house. Very pleased!

  We were extremely pleased with the work that Tackett Tree Service did at our house. They took a couple trees out and raised a couple more trees. The job was done very well and quickly.

  We had a very large, dead ash tree near the corner of our house that was also close to some power lines. They took it down, ground the stump and cleaned up the whole area. I highly recommend them and would gladly call them again if ever the need arises.

  Tackett’s tree service did an excellent job cleaning up a huge tree in our backyard knocked over by the recent storms!!! And they were very reasonably priced!! We have used them before and we will use them again!!!!

  Not a good source for firewood. Website advertised $150/cord. Charged $265. And almost all of it is waterlogged, soft, or moldy. Huge disappointment. They delivered after dark so I couldn't see the quality until the next day when they were long gone. Talk about a red flag. Please do not consider this business for any firewood needs. You're being taken advantage of, just like my elderly mother was when she sent our family a cord of firewood for Christmas. Shame on them.

  Josh Tackett came out to give me an estimate for having several dead trees removed and he treated me with respect and provided a detailed reasonable quote. They started the job early and finished ahead of schedule. His crew was very professional, respectful, and I felt very comfortable around them. They definitely knew what they were doing, how to do it safely, and had all the right equipment. I was worried as the trees were huge and odd-shaped but they took care of them and thoroughly cleaned up all debris. They left my yard cleaner than they found it! As a woman living alone, I felt safe and was given a reasonable price. Tackett’s Tree Service is top notch and I recommend them to everyone!

  Josh came out and gave a really clear and concise estimate that was spot on. In all transparency, we called other places to compare estimates and services and based on the location and size, everyone else flat out refused to even provide an estimate, much less discuss options, and one even said Tackett’s would be the only team to be willing to take it on. Josh’s opinion of the trees were spot on, as evidenced when the work was done and we immediately had neighbors asking about their services when they left because our yard was so clean, that you would have never had known they were ever there - they even had to take a section of our fence for equipment access and you would absolutely never know. I’m sure our tree was not the worst they’ve ever done, but it was definitely not easy and they mastered it. The crew went above and beyond on game day, were very honest about issues that came up as they arose and we are really happy with the work they did. We got in sooner than expected, stayed right on budget, and they made something really stressful for us (new, first time home owners with a hollow tree towering over a very small lot) look very easy. Will use them again and recommended them without hesitation.
