    On August 13, 2024, I texted the owner of Deka Lash (******************) at ************ at 9:11am, stating my name and that I wanted to cancel my membership I recently got. I explained how my allergies and eyes are super dry and having the lashes with those issues did not turn out how I thought and that it had nothing to do with the lash artist. I was at work and was unable to answer, but had a missed call at 9:25 am and 9:52 am from ************ so I know my text was received. Well last Thursday I received a card in the mail postmarked the same day, August 13, that I sent my text for cancellation of my membership. The card said thank you for being part of Deka Lash and that the Deka Lash Team is excited to continue to serve me. I have included all the documentation to support my concerns in this email and I am reiterating that i wish to no longer continue my membership with Deka Lash. I received 2 emails after this stating that my account is suspended and that I need to contact them to update my payment method. I followed up with an email on August 19th 2024 submitting the documentation I have uploaded here and still have not received a response.

    Upon further investigation, we discovered that *********************** had two separate accounts: one listed her as a non-member, while the other indicated her as a member. The unanswered calls to ***** were intended to inform her of the absence of a membership under her name, which was due to the second account not being identified at that time. We have since canceled the second account membership as per her request. To address such issues in the future, ***** should contact central scheduling rather than the business owner. Additionally, the owner requests that the BBB refrain from publishing personal information, as this constitutes doxinga violation of privacy by revealing sensitive personal details online. We have honored Mrs. ******* request, and no further charges will be made to the unactivated credit card associated with the canceled membership.
