      I took my Vehicle to Tuffy because it had an exhaust leak and Pete said he’d call me letting me know what and how much it was gonna cost to fix it. Well George ended up calling me stating it would be $515 for the noise to be gone I said ok cause it’s too loud to drive George said No worries we’ll fix that so there’s no noise at all !!! Well needless to say I went back to the facility to pay which I did but when I started my vehicle it was still loud!!! I marched right back in the shop and said to George why was my vehicle still loud?? He said it is?? He told the mechanic to put on a lift to see why it was loud,George pulls me into the shop and says you need a catalytic converter seems it’s still being loud… now I’m freaking out cause I told him that I would pay $515 but couldn’t do anymore and he literally lied to me about the vehicle being quiet… I’m so furious I reached out to the franchise owners and they pretty much ignored my calls and emails. I asked for legal department and some random guy left me a voicemail but I was so upset being treated the way George ripped me off I was done !!!

      First, there was never any promise that other issues might not be present after obvious leaks are repaired. Exhaust is like water, you can fix one point of leakage, and another will surface. The situation was explained that we fixed the obvious leaks and that due to age of vehicle there is always the possibility of other issues. We originally offered a complete refund just to accommodate this customer. That was unacceptable at the time we presented the offer. Since that time, we have pulled our offer of a refund due to the fact the customer did not accept it originally and then we could not contact to negotiate an acceptable offer.

       

      This person is unreasonable to deal with and we feel wholeheartedly that we did nothing wrong. The vehicle is 90% quieter and is very drivable after the repairs we performed.
