    A gentleman came to my door saying he’s going door-to-door selling magazines to help rehabilitate himself. He’s was supposedly apart of some program. Well I had been scammed the magazines never came. Dear Justin ********, please see the attached invoice for $35.00. Best regards, Better Choice Entertainment I’m still waiting.

    October 22, 2023 Young man approached us while we were working in the yard. Said he was trying to get back on his feet & selling subscriptions to magazines. Against my better judgement, I purchased 3 different magazines for $120. It is December 27, 2023 & I have no idea when to expect any of the 3 or if they're digital or if I'll get them at all. We were trying to help the young man out but now I'm feeling that we've been scammed. I want either to be refunded the total amount of $120 or delivery of the product.

    A door to door salesman explained he was a former felon and looking to get back on his feet. The young man was a great communicator and seemed sincere and I appreciated his hustle and his personal story. Even though I didn’t need a subscription, I bought one for Highlights Magazine. The price was much higher than I had paid in the past ($80 for one year). I only purchased it to help out this young man who was trying to turn his life around. I never received the subscription or any additional follow-up.
