We are sorry that Ms. ****** feels this way. However, at no point has she been harassed or threatened. As part of our standard procedure in the rent-to-own industry, we make phone calls and conduct field visits to establish contact with customers regarding expired lease agreements.
Ms. ****** has been a customer of Eagle Rental for less than a month. During this time, she was presented with multiple options to resolve her account but did not take advantage of any of them. Our company offers a lifetime reinstatement policy, which allows customers to return merchandise if they are unable to make a payment, with the option to have it redelivered when they are ready. Unfortunately, instead of utilizing this option, Ms. ****** chose to ignore communication attempts and verbally abuse and threaten multiple employees both over the phone and in person.
Despite this, our representatives have remained professional at all times and have not engaged in any inappropriate conduct. The lease agreement Ms. ****** signed clearly outlines the available options in the event of non-payment. This situation appears to be a case of a customer not adhering to the terms of their signed lease agreement and becoming upset when asked to comply with its conditions.
Ms. ****** is welcome to contact the store and speak with the General Manager, Bre. If she prefers, we can also arrange for her to speak with the District Manager, Dale.
